HOW embarrassing! To set the record straight: The Kiron used 67m filters
and was introduced in 1974.

I wrote:

The 70-210 f/3.5  that used 67mm filter was the earlier version, and was
made by Kiron, starting in 1982. The 70-210 f/3.5 that used 62mm filters
was the later version and was made by Tokina, starting in 1974.
