It's funny, the SF community is much like the Pentax community, they feel they're in some kind of a getto and most
of them are friends.

I did (read it), years before the film. I agree, that must
be one of the worst movies after a book. I have watched the film with
some kind of freakish fascination.

Interestingly, Heinlein and Dick were friends.
