If its horse related, i use the F90X or the D1 or the D2H. There are
more suited for the job.
If its low light, i use the Nikons more as i have more glass at F2.8
than i do in Pentax glass.
If its for something that speed is not a factor and light is generally
good, and or i just want something light to walka round with, its the
Pentax gear.
If i want to shoot B&W its Pentax gear, the PZ-1 or the 67
