Not sure who exactly you're talking about but Mega Upload was shut down by the FBI, courtesy of the NZ Police. It's been a complete farce and the extradition of Kim Dotcom is slowly grinding its way through the courts. It's sounding less likely to succeed as time goes by. Not that Mr Dotcom is squeaky clean himself... but I think the balance of public opinion is on his side.
