Thanks, that's interesting. The ability to level the head for panorama work independent of the tripod looks great. However, the thin ring control for ball tension seems a little fiddly. It just looks kinda awkward in the video, but might work beautifully in use.
(One of the Acratech heads can also be mounted inverted for similar gains in the panorama leveling game. ) I'll be interested to hear your impressions and in-use report if you get one of these. I do like the compactness.
