Hamid,

I tend not to respond to much these days. Like some others I don't use
P99SE much anymore and its problems and workarounds are well known - there
is heaps of collective knowledge about it around these days. (This forum
can get a little negative at times.)

One point you made though, that I thought worth discussing:
>It is also hard to ignore the fact that the program was released without
>much prior notice just a few weeks before the end of the year and was the
>basis of a high pressure "buy it now or he prices will go up" campaign.

This certainly caught me by surprise as well - I asked the question about
how much the saving would be. It was only about 10% - since I was not
interested in the extras (like training). No where near enough to make me
respond to a pressure sell without seeing the final product. The price
difference for the basic product (without sweeteners) before and after the
"deal" was not enough to sway me. Maybe others were in a position to take
advantage of it, but I would hazard a guess that many thought like me. As
well, I don't know if there is a difference between regions though.

(PS I also work $ per hour but ... now more like $0 per hour for a while.)
(PPS I prefer P2004 over P99SE and AD6 over P2004 - but I have long
absorbed any learning time.)
