Hi Alison,
I don't know about others but we installed the single blade ones that you
showed in your second picture a few years ago and I haven't liked their
durability. They will probably have to be replaced soon-ish.

We have big metal sliding doors and the single blades don't seem to like it
at all. I attach a picture to try to explain the location but where the
single blade sweeps were installed in this style gap where the door slides
past, they sort of bunch up and get confused about where to go. Even the
blades at the top and bottom of the doors are getting damaged. I suppose
this might be because they haven't been designed to slide sideways and we
have concrete floors which are probably quite abrasive. Perhaps this is
only a problem because our doors slide on rails and it wouldn't be an issue
with regular doors. Maybe we should have chosen brush over blade... Also,
my colleague tells me they are all "dried up" too - I don't know if brush
types do or if this just means we got a bad quality blade. I hope this
information helps you!

[image: WhatsApp Image 2021-01-29 at 12.05.30.jpeg]I can't find a picture
to show how they bunch up at the corners, but this shows one that's torn
plus a space between two blades that I can't really explain.....
Best,
Angelica
