I just barely upgraded my entire network to Ubiquity's Unifi line. I
have the gateway, ac pro, an 8 and 16 port managed switch, and I used
a raspberry pi w/ controller software. I've also started playing with
their cameras. My nest+subscription is nicer in some respects and more
convenient, but there is a monthly cost.

I've been pretty happen with Ubiquity and would be comfortable
recommending them.

I suppose in completely unrelated news I'm interested in selling off a
few google wifi pucks :D

Cheers,
Stephen
