You were right, it was wishful thinking. The original problem (of not being able to play the radio station that was playing when the PC went to sleep) is still there, it just seems to be intermittent. In fact today the radio stream automatically started playing all by itself, although it took a while (30 seconds type of thing). It is not a big problem..
