The order means try first type and if that fail got to second etc. This can be useful when some Listen Again programs are only available in podcast MP3 so DASH and HLS would fail. I can't test UK streams. For R2 or R4 - in the UK the MP3 stream is supposed to be about 339kbps (at least according to the BBC imda URL). I thought above 320kbps for MP3 is very good especially for talking and casual listening programs. BBC make R3 special and it is the only station to have an high quality AAC stream.
