I remember when I first started this exercise the iPeng author and I had to collaborate on getting it to recognize the volume changes when the player was set to 100% output. I was pretty sure Squeezer did not support this initially too and that is why I never pursued the changes you have been making recently. So now someone needs to contact the Squeeze Ctrl author to ask them to pass the requests through to LMS to make this work there also.
