Good point. Not being a developer, I haven't studies the SDK rules, but I can see how this might be an issue for them. Fingers crossed they can allow it.
Local iTunes libary sharing is already possible, and since the iPhone has an iTunes libary on it, technically its not much different to allow local sharing, but it probably does not indear them to the labels when they bring this idea up. Also I guess Apple might want to reserve this type of feature for themselves - not unheard of!
