I'd rather not have the m, >, +, >| as separate modes selectable at the top of the screen, I don't think it's intuitive especially for new users. Instead I'd rather when I tap on the icon for a song or albumn a popup displays to choose m, >, >| etc. A press and hold should do the default, say >.
