The log entries mean that SrvrPowerCtrl is making the attempt to program
the RTC wakealarm.  

How old is your machine?  Most hardware that is less than 4 years old
(I think) ought to work with this.  My personal experience with older
hardware and linux is that my machines from, say the 2002-2008 era did
not.

So, do you have a daily alarm set for 7:30 am?  If so, then
SrvrPowerCtrl is doing it's job and the fault may be with your
hardware. Or something else.  Can you find entries in
/var/log/squeezeboxserver/server.log that match up execution time-wise
with the srvrpowerctrl.log entries?  You'd be looking for a x returned
x statement which would indicate if SrvrPowerCtrl thinks the rtc
programming script succeeded.
