I've now rearranged the setup. I've enabled Internet Connection Sharing on the Win 7 machine which runs LMS and has a wireless connection to my router/internet. The SB3 is wired by ethernet to an ethernet NIC in the Win 7 machine. It automatically receives an IP address on 192.168.137.x under Win 7's Internet Connection Sharing and connects to LMS automatically. I have been able to connect to mysqueezebox.com and Internet Radio from the SB3 now over its wired connection to the Win7 machine and onwards via the Win 7 machine's wireless connection to the broadband router. I've also un-enabled and re-enabled Triode's plugin and checked that spotifyd is set to allow all incoming connections in Windows Firewall, I've also added a rule for CLI's 9090 port to accept all incoming connections. When I run the self test in Triode's plugin it fails at the final step with: Helper app unable to authenticate player (error: -5) >From the log: [20:26:33.617] main:776 newstream connection from 192.168.1.253 [20:26:33.617] check_player:291 player address mismatch 192.168.1.253 192.168.137.39 [20:26:33.617] main:834 unable to play on this player: -5 192.168.1.253 is the IP address of the Win 7 machine's wireless internet connection to the broadband router, assigned by the router. 192.168.137.39 is the IP address of the SB3 assigned by the Win 7 machine via it's Internt Connection Sharing. The player mismatch log message seems strange - it gives the address of the Win 7 machine and the SB3 and says they are a mismatch? Any ideas on how to solve or further investigate the problem?
