Maybe this can help; This is a pcapng of traffic between Foobar Windows host and Onkyo receiver named oLab.
After Wireshark capture was started, I press play in Foobar; then a few volume changes, then a stop. Everything works, I hear music. Metadata shows on LCD. Volume changes work as well.
