I'm not convinced it was about the oil. Not entirely. Sure, oil was part
of the equation but, in my opinion, it was really about political capital.
War is how you get that kind of capital and it enables a ruling junta the
ability to dispense with liberties and all those rights we take for
granted. George W. Bush knew this. If there was anything he learned about
being president from his father it was this and that is why he wanted his
war.

The political capital of a new war will be the imputus the Bush Regime
needs to nullify civil rights and keep a ruly junta in power in the U.S.
in 2008 - perhaps even canceling the election and keeping Bush as head of
the U.S. fascist dictatorship.
