I agree - absolutely! Setting up a dictatorship and getting rid of civil
liberties is the main prize!
You have to instill a state of hysterical fear in the populace. That's where
the "terrorism" comes in. Then, the "good people" will willingly - if not
eagerly - relinquish their civil liberties so that they can be "protected."
And, the beauty is that anyone who dissents can then be designated a
"terrorist," himself!
All governments are evil. They are motivated by money and power. This one is
no exception. I'ts been evil since the day of its inception. But it now
seems to have reached its zenith as far as political treachery against its
own and foreign citizens.
Maybe it's just because this is the particular time period in which I am
alive. I'm sure the black slaves on the Southern plantations - or the
victims of the "Red Scare" - saw it equally as evil.
