Uhm.....It wasn't the United States that formed Israel. As a matter of fact, we were one of the last Nations to even acknowledge Israel. It was the United Nations with the Soviet Union supporting the creation of Israel.
A couple of points: 1. Biblical Israel is not at all the same as UN created Israel. 2. I concur that the U.S. should not support Israel's land grab; and Israel should be condemned by the UN, (which they are and have been). Israel has UN Sanctions than Iraq and Saddam Hussein ever amassed. Nevertheless, until such time as the Arab world and Palestinians accept the fact that there is, and always will be an Israel, and while Palestinians continue to perpetrate terroristic acts against Israel, it's hard for the UN, or any one individual to muster any support for them.
