For what ???

Someone not rinsing the spinach enough ?? ,Or for the dog loose in the
field that shit on or near the spinach?? or for some minimum wage kid
not washing his hands as often as he should ?? Or maybe it was from
her own hands, or from someone she shook hands with that day ??

Or for her choosing the wrong restaurant on the wrong day ??

All the above are equally plausible without a sample of the
spinach .....  or maybe it was a parasitic infection that was killed
with the anti-biotics.

File it under "shit happens" and get on with life.
