"So, you think he came back
to win her key," Alex asked. It made sense, but he had to do more than
that now. "Except it isn't just hers anymore, it's all of
them."
Derek nodded and looked at the sephlicurs and keys "So we
have two t'ings in our favor."
He then looked at both Julia and Nick before turning back
to Alex and nodded. He hoped Nick could get Julia to realize she wasn't at
fault here. "Call the hotel room and see if he's there."
He started typing on the console next to her, calling up
everything they had on the sephlicurs.
And when Julia and Nick were finished talking he would
have her go through the files. Maybe she knew or could remember something
from wherever or however she had known about the inability to destroy the
sephlicurs.
He looked at Alex, his tone thoughtful "I still can't help
but t'ink that the demon not winning the key the first time plays a part in this
now, even though they've been blessed again."
