and nodded. He hoped Nick could get Julia to realize she wasn't at fault
here. "Call the hotel room and see if he's there."
He started typing on the console next to her, calling up everything they had
on the sephlicurs.
And when Julia and Nick were finished talking he would have her go through
the files. Maybe she knew or could remember something from wherever or
however she had known about the inability to destroy the sephlicurs.
He looked at Alex, his tone thoughtful "I still can't help but t'ink that
the demon not winning the key the first time plays a part in this now, even
though they've been blessed again."
Alex dialed the hotels number on the speaker phone, "Room 437 pleast,' she
said to the sleepy sounding operator. She glanced back at Derek as the
phone began to ring. "Well, he did show up before they were blessed
and.....Mitchell vanished before Julia even got back got, around the time
you and Nick were working on getting her back, but before you actually went
to Ireland. It makes sense..., but I doubt he's going to be too happy about
having to win the others back as well. On the other, he might not think
much of it, consider that he didn't have much trouble getting them from us
before."
