THE WEEKEND PRIMETIME NEWSLETTER
AMERICA'S NEWSCHANNEL MSNBC
Friday August 30th- Monday September 2, 2002
We regret to inform you... the summer's pretty much over. Sorry.
There is, however, some good news. We have some PREMIERES from our MSNBC
DOCUMENTARY department this weekend that are really great. And if you like CRIME
stories, this weekend is all for you.
On SATURDAY at 8pm ET, MSNBC INVESTIGATES: BURIED ALIVE. This is one of those
stories that is so incredible, it's hard to believe it really happened. 26 children
on a bus are kidnapped along with their driver, and are buried alive in a moving van.
It is the largest mass kidnapping in American history and nearly three decades later
we learn so much about trauma and survival from talking to these former hostages.
On SUNDAY at 10pm ET, it's HEADLINERS & LEGENDS: THE COUNTERTERRORIST. He is
renowned in law enforcement circles as the agent who captured two of the FBI's Most
Wanted, both notorious terrorists. Former US Marine (and model), Special Agent Brad
Garrett is at the center of the toughest cases in today's headlines-- the man cops
turn to when they have nowhere else to go.
On MONDAY, it's Abrams, Nachman, Donahue & Matthews.. Ashleigh's off- but will
resume her Across America tour on Tuesday, LIVE from Boca Raton, FL. For more details,
go to www.banfield.msnbc.com
In the 10pm ET time slot on Monday, we've got a new premiere-MSNBC INVESTIGATES:
