George, you've broken the cardinal rule! When you are on a story, 
standing around in the cold waiting for something to happen, the last 
thing you ever say is "it could be worse, it could be raining", 
guaranteed to bring on squally showers!!

I think this is probably some sort of gypsy curse, so spin around three 
times and spit over your shoulder lest your drives start bugging out. :)
