As it happens I was returning two dead IBM 60Gb Deskstar drives today. If you do a google for IBM hard drives UK and follow your sense you'll eventually end up at a Hitachi Europe support/warranty page where you can enter the serial no of your drive and it will tell you whether or not it's under warranty. In the ca`se of my deskstars the warranty is 3 years and you have to mail them off to the Netherlands. Last time I had a faulty drive I had a replacement back within 10 days.
I don't know how that relates to Microdrives but I did in passing notice that Microdrives were mentioned but I didn't take any note of the details.
if you can't find the right page mail me off list and I'll search the browser memory.
One thing - as far as I recall the pages didn't work in Safari, so if you're on a Mac you'd better use IE.

IAC, as long as you haven't mistreated them, you should be eligible for a

The newer one has already gone back. The other is around 2 years old. I suppose I've got an invoice somewhere. I'm concerned that the others might collapse too...
