I would have posted the step by step, but honestly you need that weird diode temp sensor thing so you might as well order the kit. But in a nutshell. I used the pos and neg lead from my battery pack, had to solder on 2 wires (in the middle of the pack one neg one pos, and the temp sensor goes from the negative, and then to a pin on the connector.
My leads are like 5 volts and 8 volts (the volt sensors).
