I've migrated pretty much all my bikes over to upright - even a mid 1980's 
Pinarello Montello. I just prefer a more upright riding position now versus 
hunched over on drops.  (yes I know I could hike them way up but honestly I 
hate the look of a mile high dropped bar).  I'm used to the steering 
characteristics of my bikes now so I can't say they are problematic in any 
respect.
