Still not working even after I uninstall RSrv250.exe instead install
R_Scilab_DCOM3.0-1B1beta.exe
RExcelInst3.0.5.exe
with current R-2.8.0. When I try the Server 01- Basic Test and press
Start R, I get the same "Method '~' of object '~' failed message.
And if from the Excel RExcel menu I select I get the same error "Could
not start RServer", and then "There seems to be no R process connected
to Excel" -- whether or not I've already started R before opening Excel.
My .profile loads rcom, which automatically loads the requisite package
rscproxy. Moreover, rscproxy is in D:\Stat\R\myRlib, but the DbgView log
below suggests it's looking instead inside the R-2.8\library.
