Let me add one other thing here... I don't have SlimServer use iTunes, mainly because I also have FLAC files in my library. I've ripped a LOT of 5.1 material, AC3 and DTS, saving as FLAC for decoding from my Transporter. iTunes doesn't know what FLAC files are and, therefore, Slim never sees them _IF_ it's using iTunes as the library. I simply use iTunes to rip to ALAC and tag my CD collection. Slim does the rest.
It doesn't take any more work to do this than what moley6knipe is doing. I just think it's a little cleaner this way since I have multiple file types. -- Eric Seaberg Eric Seaberg - San Diego [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Eric Seaberg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7896 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=42736 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
