Sorry, but my server is NOT transcoding to WAVE.  I have disabled that
transcode in the FILE TYPES setting of the server and have it
transcoding to FLAC or MP3 (for remote streaming).  It works great and
does peak at approx 1Mbps.  I've been using it this way for almost 1.5
years without issue.

The only WAVE playback I'm doing is native because I do have some 5.1
mixes still saved that way as AC3 or DTS.  I'm in the process of
converting those to FLAC as well to save on bandwidth, even though my
Transporter is wired.
