Going from memory, I think the FAST TRACKS web site shows a technigue for using
their curvable laser cut wood ties to make a flexible turnout. Thus, you could
curve a turnout to some extent to fit a particular geometry. Not sure how they
would handle the frog angle in this situation, but the web site would be an
good place to look for answers. It is not absolutely necessary to strictly
stick with the standard #6, #8, etc. Having fun yet?...Ed L.
