Folks should realize that a jig is not necessary to build a switch sitting
at their workbench, just cut out a switch blank and glue the ties to it and
start laying rail, glue down PC board ties where wanted and wooden ties to fill
in the gaps. When it's done install it as one piece like a fast track or other
commercially made switch. The advantage of doing it without the jig is it can
be made any frog number or curve radius desired, the dis-advantage is it takes
a few more minutes to hold the rails while soldering them.....dave
