John, by referring to Athearn, are you willing to do these in HO as much as in
S?  DJE

  Hi Ed;

  Google is our friend, it brought up the Athearn parts page here:

  http://www.athearn.com/Products/Parts/Default.aspx

  Most of the bodies seem to be from the old Blue Box models, they well at
about $12.00 for the body - it appears the cab is a separate part in some cases
at $2.98 a pair, but maybe one is included with the body.

  They had a couple of newer bodies, like the CF-7 which they re-worked from a
Rail Power Products shell after buying the company. Those sell for $22.98 and
the cab for $7.98 each...

  About the same differential between these later bodies, which might be
marginally better than the original Blue Box or AM shells, as between the
finished HO models and typical S models.
