I think the traction tire feature is mostly/only on the hi-rail wheels and not 
on the scale wheels.  If I am correct, the offering of that feature to the 
AF-compatible crowd should not affect your opinions of AM's scale offerings.  

It sure would be nice if you would actually see, hold, feel, touch and operate 
a model before expressing comments and opinions and feelings and viewings about 
it.  Too much hearsay and unsubstantiated emotion is not good.  Personal 
observations and facts are valued.
