2006-12-13 Thread Carlos Prez

Hello, Dan,

Even though your post might be taken as a joke (Chuck will probably see it
as a revenge...!), with my daily consumption of a good ammount of hot
peppers three times a day I pursue regeneration of blood vessels ans damaged
tissues in many places in all my body, including EYES. Even though my
cataracts are progressing very slowly, they have not stopped. I have
seriously considered applying Cayenne drops in my eyes, but I first want to
try other methods suggested by list members, that seem to revert the
process, like MSM and N-Acetyl-carnosine.

I sure hope I do not have to put Cayenne paste in my eyes! From accidental
experiences, I can assure you that burns like fire!!

Hello, friends,

Thank you very much for your answers to my alternative cataracts solutions
request.

Even though we always had dairy goats in our farms during 20+ years and
made cheese, yoghurt, khefir and other goat milk products mostly for family
and friends, I have almost totally stopped consuming dairy products
starting about 2 years ago. I came to the conclusion that, not even goats
milk, which I consider far superior to cows milk, is necessary or even
normally convenient for humans after 2-3 years of age.

MSM seems very promising but I do not know if I can find it here in
Margarita Island. Medical grade DMSO is available, in case it could be
used.
N-acetyl-carnosine also seems to be another very valid option, but I do not
know about its availability here either.

With your help, very soon I will be doing some experimenting. I will keep
you informed.

Any additional information on the subject will be welcome.

Regards,

Carlos

You should try drops of flax seed oil (linseed oil, not boiled) in the eyes.
You should be able to get that?

Incidentally, I was reading about Dr. Schulze using cayenne in the eye and he
recounted one herbalist that put cayenne directly into his eye to show that it
would not damage it. I had a little experience with cayenne extract added to
eyewashes etc, so I was convinced of the safety, but decided to try it. I
threw a pinch of cayenne (not too fine a grind either) into one eye. Needless
to say, I wish I hadn't. It burned like hell for about 5 or 10 minutes, but
there was no problem from it...

I am trying the MSM drops (homemade) pursuant to the recent discussion.

2006-12-11 Thread Carlos Prez

Hello, friends,

I am very glad Mike and team have fixed the list problem.

I have progressive eye cataracts that started around 10 years ago, when I
got Ehrlichiosis. Even though they have evolved very slowly, maybe in great
part due to a healthy life I try to live, I am approaching a point in which
the normal recommendation would be surgery.

I believe this theme was brought up in this list a short time ago. Besides
exercise, high quality food and daily EIS consumption, I would like to know
if there is someone with experience with an alternative way to clear the eye
cristaline lenses from protein accumulation, avoiding surgery.

In my experience concerning my Ehrlichiosis symptoms and EIS consumption,
the general itchy spots that covered all of my body have decreased 80%, a
tendency towards halitosis was wiped out overnight, arthritic-like pains and
swelling on my hands and specially finger joints have totally disappeared,
the blank spaces I sometimes got in my coordinating thought and speech under
stress have decreased 90%, and my general state has evidently improved.

I am also consuming a lot of cayenne and other hot peppers, more than I
normally have used all my life, which is plenty, trying to regenerate blood
vessels that have been damaged by Ehrlichiosis.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Carlos

I am very glad Mike and team have fixed the list problem.

I have progressive eye cataracts that started around 10 years ago, when I
got Ehrlichiosis. Even though they have evolved very slowly, maybe in great
part due to a healthy life I try to live, I am approaching a point in which
the normal recommendation would be surgery.

 Carlos,

The subject of cataracts and a possible treatment to avoid surgery came up
on a different website and I was directed to look into N-Acetylcarnosine.
Search under this heading and you will find a several offerors of eye-drops,
 along with their testimonials.

Regards,

Carlos

Re: CSEye cataracts options with MSM

  THE EYES
Think of your eyeball as a balloon full of water, but instead of being
rubber, it is a protein membrane. Optical tissue normally allows fluids to flow
through the membrane wall which acts like a filter, cleaning out harmful
particles, keeping your eyes clear and your vision good as it allows nutrients
to permeate. But should the membranes become tough like leather, the fluids are
trapped and particles begin to accumulate. If this buildup continues, your
vision will seem as if you're looking through frosted glass, a condition known
as cataracts.
When eyedrops containing the proper amount of MSM are applied, the membrane
becomes permeable, and this has reversed the problem. It is also important that
the eye remain flexible so that the muscles can alter its contour and focus as
needed. In the event that its membranes and muscles become rigid and tough, the
eye will not be able to focus properly, resulting in blurred vision. The MSM in
eyedrops soothes and softens the membranes, permitting fluids to pass through
the optical tissues to stabilize the pressure, repair any damage, clear up red
spots and bloodshot vessels, and remove floaters and other particles in the eye.
In one case, a 15 percent solution of MSM in isotonic saline was a soothing
treatment for the eye following accidental injury due to particulate matter in
the eye. In a test with an irritated eye of a rabbit, the eye cleared when
treated every hour with a 10 percent aqueous solution of MSM. Be assured, the
concentration in the MSM eye drops you get will be sufficient. Follow the
instructions on the label.
As noted earlier, the B vitamins in general and the sulfur-related amino
acids and compounds are vital to maintaining healthy eyes. Specifically, we've
learned that glucosamine is the starting material for the eyes, that
glutathione promotes good eye health and low levels accompany almost every type
of eye disease. We also know that people suffering from the eye disease
retinitis pigmentosa show reduced levels of taurine within the eye.
  Hi Chris,
Typical MSM eye drops are around 1% from what I hear. Is 15% safe?

Here is how to make the cataract solution form MSM. Just remember to use
the pure powder. You can make the 15% solution by mixing 1.5 grams of MSM
in 10 ml of water (two teaspoons). Its best to make small batches for
freshness. Use 2 to 4 times daily.
  Chris
Thanks. Maybe we could make the solution in 5ppm colloidal silver as a
preservative.
  Dick
Great idea! Another would be to buy saline solution for contact lenses ( this
has preservative already in it) and mix the MSM in it. For those who do not
have access to colloidal silver. Also not sure if MSM will react with silver...
Think it would be best to go the inert route first than check out the CS idea.
  Chris
  Hello,
Just a note to say as a 6-month subscriber to the CS maillist, MSM mixed
with CS works just fine, in fact is recommended for use in an inhaler
for those with respiratory ailments. The ppm of CS doesn't matter much,
since it's difficult to control when making it yourself. Most folks make
in the 5-15ppm range.

Hi,
Do you consume a lot of dairy products, milk/cheese? I once read an
article that said that dairy products and/or the galactose enzyme needed
to digest them (sold for the lactose intolerant) are strongly implicated
in cataracts. My personal experience is that several years ago I was
developing the beginnings of a cataract (confirmed by my regular eye doc
and a specialist). I stopped all dairy for at least a year (maybe
longer---just don't remember exactly). At my next eye exam, there was no
sign of any cataract at all. However, I've since been back to heavy
consumption of milk and cheese, half and half, etc, for over a year and
have no sign of any recurrence yet. I'm keeping watch on it though.
Still, if you do eat dairy foods, it might be worth stopping for a
year or so to see if it makes any difference.
