serial number and checksum for TheBat
Hello BatPhiles I was just reinstalling TheBat (yet again)and thought I might do it 'clean and new'...ie a new install, and without resorting to restoration of data from a Backup However...I ran into a problem with registration: I have my registration(serial) number but I don't have a checksum number recorded anywhere So..how do you get around this ..if you do a clean/new instal, you have your serial number...but no other data?? Spam, Bayes It, Kludges, white list, balck list... : French need help !
Hello, (I use TB 2.11.02 and Bayesit 0.5.5) Can I use Black and White lists with Bayesit plugIn of the bat ? Because auto spam filtering seems to not work correctly (more than 1000 mails evaluated and no amelioration).I can't find help for parameters of the plug in and I just want to burn or to authorize e-mail addresses. Other question, can you help me because I'm a poor French man and I can't find good translation of theses words found in the Plug In (I've turned TB on French language but these terms are not translated) : -kludges -Use white list of kludges (and edit list button) -number of ranking tokens -Out of 100 score to be used for actions below : Average/maximal/minimal -Use enhanced evaluation Of course I don't ask for a simple translation but I hope I can find explain and a What for it is. Re[2]: Downloading e-mail on to second computer
Way back in August 2003 I inquired about how to set up The Bat on a laptop, download e-mail from the server, and, eventually, transfer all of the downloaded e-mail to the pre-exising Bat file on my desktop. Alie's response clued me in to synchronization. Well, after 10 months, I am just getting around to setting up The Bat on the laptop, and I am running into a problem in just trying to copy the_bat_o.exe file to the laptop. When I run the setup file, I get the following error message when I attempt to install The Bat to the c:\program directory: cannot access directory \\DESKTOP\THE BAT!\MAI Why would it try to access the desktop? And, even though a Bat subdirectory was created within the program directory, when I attemtp to click on the bat.exe file, I get the same error message. Why? -- Avi Avram Sacks Chicago, IL [EMAIL PROTECTED] Also, please copy any response to [EMAIL PROTECTED], as well. Quoting in Forward
I don't recall how many versions I have noticed this, but it's grown annoying enough to post here. When I forward a message, TB insists on *quoting* the message (preceding each line with ) AND using the forward template I have set up. This happens whether I use %Text or %Quotes in my Forward template. I end up deleting the redundant quoted text every time I forward a message. My Forward template looks like this: [begin template] %Cursor -- %QINCLUDE=kmgsig ==forwarded message=== From: %OFromName %OFromAddr To: %OToList Date: %ODateEn, %OTimeLongEn Subject: %OSubj %Text End of forwarded message== [end template] I've tried inserting %Clear in the template to no avail. I can fix my sig file so that forwards won't have the duplicated text, but I will still have the quoted text in Replies disappear when switching signatures via QT.
