from a bizznass stand point, DVDs are definately the future of music
media. 2003 was the first year that DVDs sold better than CDs in the US.
If you walk into any major electronic/music/media store, you'll see the
DVDs right in front. and since the pricepoint has now dropped below $20

No unfortunately not! it's a track from an ep called "Fast Forward" due out
Aug/Sept.
It's dope, sounds a bit like Rob Hood, but still sounds like Juan if that
makes any sense.

He has a new album on Peacefrog. Maybe todayis the release date?

I really enjoyed the evening, although as Rob has said, Saunderson, whilst
technically proficient, didn't do it for me at all. Too much clubby-tracky
style records played - I can see why people like him, but this wasn't for me
at all.
Mills was superb - very dark. One thing I did feel that he's re

I don't know if there's a point as such - it's a bit of a gimmick,
really, that he used to try to build up anticipation/suspense in
the crowd before he came on. But basically it's a product he's
trying to sell and as I've said before I wouldn't mind at all if
more DJs released DVDs like that; t
I still fail to see the point of the DVD thing. Either I'm stupid, or Mills'
explanation for it is rubbish.

While Saunderson was better than I expected, it didn't really blow me away and

which meant that I was getting unfairly impatient towards the end of

Yeah, I personally thought that was the best I'd heard Mills play for a few
years. As I age I want a little subtlety interspersed with my flagrant
clubtracks, but hey, I doubt anyone else minded. That was good overall

not, though he had his moments, at least he seemed to be enjoying himself. Nice

Did anyone other UK list-members spot the Jeff Mills mention in the fashion
pages of the Guardian's Weekend magazine on Saturday? Quite amusing:

The venue turned the lights on because they felt that they weren't making
enough money at the bar. I know, I know. Didn't make sense to me, either.
The promoters (from Melbourne) fought hard to stop it to no avail. They're
in a bind, it's not their joint. It's not something we deal with in

I go there all the time, I personally think it's one of the best nights in
London. The music is always varied and interesting, the venue is really
intimate and chilled out, the sound system rocks (it's basically held in a
recording studio), and the crowd is probably one of the most funky and

Hi Matt
Theo didn't quite made it to 6 hours; just a little
over 5. An excellent set that wound its way between
house, disco, techno, soul, r & b, and stuff that fell
between all those. I own about 5 of his mix cd's (and
over 20 of his own releases), and still only
