I suspect the issue is that rg has two ways of handling Control
Change messages in a standard MIDI file. CCs at time zero are shown in
the MIDI Instrument Parameters Panel. CCs after time zero are simply
events in the segments. Those can be viewed using the controller rulers
in the matrix

that prevented it from detecting that the file names were identical.
E.g. one accessed via a link and the other not? Still, it should always

I just pushed a change to Rosegarden's "Punch-In" record behavior.
This is to support MMC record strobe. Punch-In will now start recording
if the transport is stopped. By default, Punch-In is the space bar.
Please test the latest git and let me know if there are issues with
this change.

I'm planning on having a look in January after the 22.12 release and
the holidays. It's 21,000 lines of changes, though, so it's going to
take years for me to review and test all of it. Until that process
begins, I can't provide useful or helpful feedback.

I finally did this for the first time today. It was interesting.
My approach was to run jack-record and just give it a wav filename.
$ jack-record test.wav
After that, jack-record appears in the qjackctl graph and I can
connect the output of rosegarden and the output of fluidsynth to
22.12 will be released on December 7. Please test the latest version
of Rosegarden in git as much as possible. See the release notes for

window transport toolbars: main, matrix, and notation. They should
behave exactly like the loop button on the transport.

Just do what you usually do. It's rare that these sorts of cleanup
changes break
Just pushed a new "Jump to loop" feature that can be enabled or
disabled in the preferences. When enabled, playback will jump
immediately to the start of a new loop. Otherwise playback will ignore
a new loop unless it happens to encounter it.

an attempt to open) that said, "hey, I found an autosave from the last
crash. Should I open that?" The user should never dig through the
