I would like to have joined you Sebastian but Irene blew my satellite array
down :( I had my main HF tower in hurricane mode, but nothing else to do
with the sat antennas. Funny thing is Irene didn't have much of a punch till
after it made Landfall 40 miles from here about 6 am. The antennas blew

I am also posting this to the BB for information to all...
I recently worked with another ham having the same problem. He had a
computer that was a few years old. I told him that he could need a
soundcard update. After he switched his card, the program started
functioning. Go to your set
Sebastian,
I saw what must have been you in the transponder, but I was busy gathering
TLM. Thanks for the report!

At the 1850z pass, ARISSat passed at approximately 20 degrees for me. I hadn't
tried the SSB transponder in a while, and decided to give it a go. Once I
found my downlink, it was loud and clear throughout most of the past. Called
CQ for several minutes, but no takers.

Hi Randy,
Some people have reported that some types of "soundcard interfaces" don't
work with this telemetry format. Some reports are even from reliable
sources ;)
All kidding aside---where are you getting audio out of the radio; what is
the path to the sound card (straight wire? some type of i

Mark & David,
Yes indeed, the csv files are there! I am sure somewhere there was
mention of this but in my haste to get going I did like most and did not
read the instructions.

There are a number of satellite tracking apps for the Android. It really
depends on what you want. I have not found one that does everything I want but
here are the ones I am using.

I made an impromtu trip to DM67 Sunday and will mail QSL cards to the 23
contacts I had since that is kind of a rare grid (no sase or return card
necessary). I'll make a couple of more trips up there before it starts
snowing in a few weeks and will announce it here.

Hi James,
The CSV files are created automatically. You should have an "ARISSatTLM"
folder on the desktop of your computer, created during the installation.
Look in there, under the "Telemetry" folder.
That was easy, wasn't it? :) Gotta love those kind of fixes.
Glad you are having fun and succ
Harvey,
I intended to release an android app that would allow you to map ARISSat-1
and receive the telemetry for it. However, I never did put the finishing
touches on it and publish it . I did show it to a few AMSAT people
though and they seemed to like the idea. My implementation consisted of
I am running ARISSatTLM software to receive the data from the ARISSat-1
satellite. I have seen several mentioning sending .csv files with
data. Is the ARISSatTLM capable of generating a .csv data file?
Perhaps a cut and paste of the data is done. I have used print screen
