Well everyone I finished up the last exam today and I am now officially a
CCNP. Exam was not too difficult if you know the material. There were a few
vague questions but overall it was a pleasurable experience. :--)

Anyone ever heard of Transcender exams for CCNA/CCNP? If so how good were
they compared to say boson exams?

Hello all,
I have a really wierd problem related to Etherchannel. First off I have
multiple Compaq servers using Etherchannel capable cards connecting to
2924XL switches. My backup server cannot seem to connect to my notees server
when using an Etherchannel connection. I can ping the server,
part b) It is pass all three sections, IMHO the only advantage is you can
have more control over the time spent on each section, and $$$

No one has any input? Well I have been doing some research and I seem to
have set up everything correctly. But let me ask a "dumb" question. If I am
linking two 2924XL switches with two ports. Do I need to configure a port
group on both switches or just one of them?

I cannot seem to get an Etherchannel connection between these two
switches.The 2924 is running v12.0(5.1) and the 2916 is running v11.2(8).
When I group two ports on each switch and then connect the additional
ethernet cable the devices cannot communicate. The switches show that the
ports are up,

The NICS I have support Etherchannel, IN fact they say they are configured
as a Etherchannel, but the switch does not seem to recognize the bundle as
STP blocks or disables one of the ports.

Thank you. I verified that the module that I have is only half duplex /

I have a 4500 with a two port Ethernet module. Each port on the module
connects to a different 2924 switch and is in a different subnet. I keep
getting excessive collisions on the Ethernet interfaces, no runts, no
giants, no CRC errors, just collisions. Any thoughts? There is no command to

I think you probably need to use altaddr command on the citrix server so
that the server will respond to the client with the translated address. It
may also be that the PIX is not letting the high TCP and UDP ports out.

Clear channel is a t1 with B8ZS (Binary Eight Zero Substitution) line
coding. AMI line coding steals 1 bit from every 8 for timing. Which results
in 56Kbps instead of 64Kbps. B8ZS coding allows you to use the full DS0 rate
of 64Kbps by using the BPV's in the signal for timing. I may not be 100%
