As you may have notice beta 2 is out, torrently available at qa.mandrakesoft.com/torrent. Moreover, you will now find in /contrib/jpackage the java based package from www.jpackage.org. Note however that some update to gendistrib is needed to have the hdlist in /Mandrake/base/ working correctly.

Hi! I didn't get very far. I thought I would try the autorun.exe thing from Windows, but wasn't able to run neither the Install Guide nor the Tutorial because of a "Can't found any web browser on your system". Strange, since it's a Win98 with a perfectly functioning IE5. Could it be that autorun.

I would add that the title of the popup window is always the same: those packages will be installed/removed (this may not be the real message, but i translated from french). So we don't know if the mentionned packaged will be installed or removed. Or maybe some will be installed and some removed ?
