IIRC, the recent CW changes were made to the firmware inside the FLEX
radios. The SDR-1000 has no firmware inside (which is actually a
benefit when you want to switch around among the various editions of PowerSDR).

Yes, that is correct. Apparently, you had MultiRX turned on. Turn it off &
you can do it.
The problem is that in order for MultiRX to work, both frequencies must be
visible in the Panadapter at the same time. So, if you have a wide
I am not sure exactly what you are asking, but when working split, VFO-B
displays the transmit frequency and it will be red (along with the TX
button in the VFO display) indicating that it is the transmitting only
VFO. No mater what the width of the split.
See pages 60-61 and 78 of the FLEX-3
If you make the upgrade to the latest version (2.0.22) you will enjoy
the sweet fruit of better CW assuming you have a FLEX-xx00 SDR (the CW
changes are not applicable to the SDR-1000)
Also feedback and echo are usually indicative of RF in the Firewire
cable or the mic cable.

I've not posted in a while since I've had no recent problems since the
upgrade to v. 2.0.19, but I've just suddenly discovered terribly distorted
audio with an echo as well back in SSB mode. I had this problem months ago
with an earlier version and got help solving it. I checked levels and only

Mark,
That is exactly where I am at right now. I will keep poking around and
see if I can get the two programs to recognize each other sufficient to
synchronize the frequencies.

I struggled with this also, and eventually just removed everything from the
"chain" except JT65-HF:
1. I set the PSDR COM port to PTT and selected on COM3
2. I set JT65HF to control the rig on COM13
3. I set VSPMgr to pair COM3 with COM13
4. I turned off HRD, disabled all other COM inputs fr
I have been using PSK 31 with no problems using FLEX versions 19 through 22
I installed the virtual audio ports and the serial port as shown in the manual

In using PSK with digipan I set my VAC , my Didgu and set my transmit and

Another question. What is your com port setup. Are you using com0com or VSP?
Are you trying to use CAT control?
