I am running Mac OS 10.10.3 on my iMac and IOS 8.2 on my iPhone. I keep a
shared calendar on iCloud.
Is there an easy way to delete all calendar events before some specified date
while retaining future instances of repeated events which were originally set
up before that specified date

Probably a bit out of wack for this discussion, I've pretty much given up using
the calendar on the Mac, I can browse the calendar easily enough but entering
and manipulating events seems to be much harder than it was, in other words
just too complex so I use the Calendar App on my IOS or Androi
What I do is vo left and right over the appointment to make sure it has focus,
then I hit the delete key. I can't figure out though why this works about 75
percent of the time in that i think I have the thing highlighted and nothing
happens when I hit the delete key.

On my iPhone, I can go to Thrash, edit and delete. I do not appear to have

If you are using gmail there is a nasty bug or there was with the first
mavericks update. If the all mail folder is not checked in imap settings you
will exhibit this exact behavior. If you update mavericks if you are using
mavericks the update should fix the problem. This is all I can think of

I actually tried deleting my test account and they flat out told me you are
unable to remove an account, just remove the profile info and it will just
eventually disappear but not be gone if that makes sense. I have the direct

Hi Zack -
I already looked at the website, and as you say, there are options for adding
extra info, and changing pass wortds, as well as your full name, but not the
Skype name, and nowhere does there appear to be an option for actually deleting
the account. Hope somebody has some more on this
