Hi Alex,
Which keystroke are you using to turn on musical typing? From what you
described, it sounds like you brought up the keyboard window instead of turning
on musical typing. Command-K shows or hides the keyboard window, while
Command-Shift-K toggles musical typing. Hope this helps.

Hi,
I use Sound Studio to edit the Tech Doctor podcast. I am very happy with it and
it is available in the Mac app store.
I found it much easier to use with VoiceOver than Amadeus. They are both good
editors.

Hi Traci. In the VO utility, go to verbosity and select the text tab. You
should be able to find settings that let you change how it reads capital
letters and deleting text. In those pop up buttons, your choices are change
pitch, play a tone, or do nothing. HTH.

Personally, I would be interested in a copy of the audio file demonstrating how
it works, etc. I have thought of starting a podcast, but haven't decided on
what yet, but I want a tool that will work for me should I decide to go in that
direction.

If it were not for the requirement that the device be external,
QuickTime Player makes for a quick handy recorder. Just launch it, make
a new audio recording and then hit the Start Recording button. Of course
you can hook up external audio inputs to the mac if you were looking for
better sound.
I think there is one called blue ray player. I saw it on mac update this

It's been a while but last I checked OSX still didn't have native

Basically, reading any app with Voiceover is fine. The problem must be when
other apps try to speak using the system voice. Visiovoice was just their
