Mary, I have an iPad 2. Apple shorten the delay when lifting your finger in iOS 6, so turning VO off does give you the fastest possible speed for typing; however, iOS 6 with the reduced delay really makes it a pleasure to use. Btw, when VO is off and you are typing you still hear the clicks.

Greetings to the list. I have done a two-finger swipe of the screen to read it and have done a right flick all through the screen, but I cannot find a button that will allow me to search for a station's call sign. I'm betting there is such a feature. All help in finding it is much appreciated.
