Rick and others, thank you...As it turns out the Windows Install Anywhere for 7.5 p2 completed successfully just after I sent the email below, so i can confirm that the core features (server, email (POP/SMTP), mid-tier/tomcat) will indeed install and run under XP (sp3) under VMWare Fustion (2.05) on a Mac.There is chance you might see this very installation at WWRUG in Las Vegas! The only items logged as slightly out of the ordinary were the NLS_LANG setting (which was caught as an error by the installer) and I managed to somehow lose one of the database roles for ARAdmin.  Rick, I think the 1064 might be some sort of generic message, because I got that when I tried to start the server before all the data had been loaded by the SQL scripts, but the server did eventually start and run itself (and continues to run). Now, armed with my NLS_LANG info, going to try for the Linux combinations...DougOn Sep 18, 2009, at 12:49 PM, Rick Cook wrote:**
Doug,Let me share more details - maybe this will help you triangulate on the issue, which may help me.First, we are on a completely different platform - installing ARS 7.1 on a 32-bit Win2003 VM against a remote shared SQL 2005 DB box.  I know the base ARSystem DB tables are getting created, because we've checked.  They seem to have the proper permissions.  So I don't think the DB is the problem.
The only times I have seen 7.5 fail like this was when DEP was not used EXACTLY as the instructions state.  But that doesn't sound like your problem, since you're not on a Windows platform.  Those of you who are, RTFM.  Seriously.  And then follow it.  Seriously.
I have installed AR/ITSM 7.5 p2 on a 32-bit MS Virtual PC (Win2k3/SQL2k5), and while it was glitchy, and took a few tries, it did eventually install.  Surely BMC has tested ARS 7.1 on VM ESX, since they have a detailed performance white paper out on the subject, using that combination.
Support says that they tested the 7.1p6 executable (I also tried p5) and found no problems installing it on their test box, so we're down to having to try a physical server - which we can only hope will work.  Client is not happy, and I don't blame them.

Rick,

I am So happy to hear that someone else has run into this issue!  I was beginning to think that I was nuts! (which still might be true... )

Attempting to set up a minimal AR 7.5 patch 002 against Oracle 10g, and I have tried several architectures inside VMWare (VMWare Fusion on a Mac, if you must know).

When I tried installing on Linux under VM, Oracle installs OK, and then the ARInstaller wouldn't get past a stage where it validated one's database credentials.  I then built a Windows XP VM on the same machine, installed the Windows version of Oracle and the Windows AR 7.5 p2 installer, and the installer completed but the server refused to start with the same "application-specific error code 1064" message you got.

Luckily, the log left behind by the windows installer is much more detailed than the one left by the Linux install.

In my first attempt on the Windows VM I discovered that the NLS_LANG setting is significant in the Oracle environment, and on Windows it gets set in two places. Assuming you have the unicode version of the database and you want to install a unicode version of the ARServer, there is still a primary language, and not all the character sets support all the charcters needed to send XML. By default the Oracle install makes the database's NLS_LANG the same as your desktop, which is probably something like "Americaa_America.WE8MSWIN1252" (Territory underscore country dot characterset).  I needed to change the NLS_LANG in the windows registry to America_American.AL32UTF16 or something close to that to get the installer to complete.  After this, the install did complete and the arserverd runs, but because of the character set discrepancy all of the SQL that loaded things like groups and users and tables didn't run, so I couldnt do much.

There's a very helpful discussion of this at http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/globalization/htdocs/nls_lang%20faq.htm.

And I am now beginning to doubt what I just wrote, because I removed it all and tried to reinstall now that I have the database set up with the proper character set.  This time similar symptoms with the 1064 failure, and the installer log notes that ARADMIN does not have the CREATE_TABLE ability.

So I am adding that (and for that matter all the DBA roles!) to my ARADMIN user in the database and will try another reinstall this afternoon.

And if it turns out that the issue is the primary language at the DB, I might go back to the Linux installation since that more closely resembles the production box here. Keep you posted on that too.

I want to thank everyone so far for their feedback. We are running
Windows Server 2003 R2 and SQL Server 2005.

We did find a problem with the Transaction Log allocation. If you have a
template installed in the "Model" database you will get this regardless
of what you declare in the installation script. We had a very small
allocation in our template (not installed by myself) and this drove us
crazy. A BMC engineer actually said that they do not support VMWare on
the Database server. Is this a "Business" decision or a "Technical
Problem." We will be getting VMWare and BMC together later next week to
discuss. I will try to keep the list posted.

Shweta- this could happen if you are using a ticket sequencing generator form
for your custom form. I see this happen periodically when for some reason the
ticket sequencing generator is getting set but the Request ID on the end form
never gets sets, perhaps because some user never completed the commit. The
ticket generation form can also be used to 'save' a range of numbers for
Request ID's if you ever need to import a set with a specific range of numbers.
I would recommend you look for the Ticket Number Generation form if one was
built for your custom app and perform a query on. You can then perhaps see
these 'missing' numbers and run a report to see that they are not 'active'
numbers.
Hope this helps.

ID number is being skipped. For eg. if the last Request ID was 10, the
next ID would be 14. This issue is having happening arbitrarily (Request
ID is in correct sequence for most of the records and it is skipping
only sometimes). Any ideas? We are on ARS version 7.1 patch 5.

Thanks

Re: VMWare - Who is using successfully?

2009-09-18 Thread Juan Ingles
I had the same experience trying to build a virtual 7.5 ITSM build.

The SQL Server build went fine all the way through, but I could never get
the Oracle 10g build to work. I don't remember the error specifically, but
it was failing to contact the DB during the initial startup.

Since I was just building a sandbox, I gave up on Oracle and went with the
SQL Server build.

ARS 7.5p1
Host OS: XP and x64 2003EE
Guest OS: 2003EE
Software: VMWare Workstation 6.5 & VMWare Server 2.0

I thought about trying Fusion also, but looks like that would have been a
waste of time :)

Re: VMWare - Who is using successfully?

2009-09-18 Thread Rick Cook
Doug,

Let me share more details - maybe this will help you triangulate on the
issue, which may help me.

First, we are on a completely different platform - installing ARS 7.1 on a
32-bit Win2003 VM against a remote shared SQL 2005 DB box. I know the base
ARSystem DB tables are getting created, because we've checked. They seem to
have the proper permissions. So I don't think the DB is the problem.

The only times I have seen 7.5 fail like this was when DEP was not used
EXACTLY as the instructions state. But that doesn't sound like your
problem, since you're not on a Windows platform. Those of you who are,
RTFM. Seriously. And then follow it. Seriously.

I have installed AR/ITSM 7.5 p2 on a 32-bit MS Virtual PC (Win2k3/SQL2k5),
and while it was glitchy, and took a few tries, it did eventually install.
Surely BMC has tested ARS 7.1 on VM ESX, since they have a detailed
performance white paper out on the subject, using that combination.

Support says that they tested the 7.1p6 executable (I also tried p5) and
found no problems installing it on their test box, so we're down to having
to try a physical server - which we can only hope will work. Client is not
happy, and I don't blame them.

Hi,

It would take a long time, but it does not really matter, as the old
system can run alongside.

The important thing is that the SYNC-operation is fast, that do the
incremental data updates later on when you put it into production.

It does not really have to do with the size of the whole system, but the
size of the delta.

Re: Major 6.3 Migration Project

2009-09-18 Thread Misi Mladoniczky
Hi,

A good thing with RRR|Chive, or rather the ARAPI, is that it will handle
the character conversion automatically.

Another thing with an upgrade, is that it usually brings havoc to the
layout of forms it changes. Therefore I think it best to use the forms
supplied with the new version, and then customize them to your need. In
most cases, I think that you have to change the prmissions of some forms
and possibly fields. You may want to hide a couple of system-forms and you
may want to mess around with permissions on the User-form to suit your
needs.

Using a def-file to migrate the application is good. You will then "clean"
your possibly very old applications to fit into the new version. If you do
a db-copy/upgrade, you may be left with a lot of historical errors caused
by ARAdmin-bugs or version incompatibilities.

By using the SYNC-mode of RRR|Chive, you can run your new system parralel
and do testing/restoration on the new system until you are satisified.

Re: VMWare - Who is using successfully?

2009-09-18 Thread Doug Blair

Rick,

I am So happy to hear that someone else has run into this issue!
I was beginning to think that I was nuts! (which still might be
true... )

Attempting to set up a minimal AR 7.5 patch 002 against Oracle 10g,
and I have tried several architectures inside VMWare (VMWare Fusion on
a Mac, if you must know).

When I tried installing on Linux under VM, Oracle installs OK, and
then the ARInstaller wouldn't get past a stage where it validated
one's database credentials. I then built a Windows XP VM on the same
machine, installed the Windows version of Oracle and the Windows AR
7.5 p2 installer, and the installer completed but the server refused
to start with the same "application-specific error code 1064" message
you got.

Luckily, the log left behind by the windows installer is much more
detailed than the one left by the Linux install.

In my first attempt on the Windows VM I discovered that the NLS_LANG
setting is significant in the Oracle environment, and on Windows it
gets set in two places. Assuming you have the unicode version of the
database and you want to install a unicode version of the ARServer,
there is still a primary language, and not all the character sets
support all the charcters needed to send XML. By default the Oracle
install makes the database's NLS_LANG the same as your desktop, which
is probably something like "Americaa_America.WE8MSWIN1252" (Territory
underscore country dot characterset). I needed to change the NLS_LANG
in the windows registry to America_American.AL32UTF16 or something
close to that to get the installer to complete. After this, the
install did complete and the arserverd runs, but because of the
character set discrepancy all of the SQL that loaded things like
groups and users and tables didn't run, so I couldnt do much.

There's a very helpful discussion of this at http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/globalization/htdocs/nls_lang%20faq.htm
.

And I am now beginning to doubt what I just wrote, because I removed
it all and tried to reinstall now that I have the database set up with
the proper character set. This time similar symptoms with the 1064
failure, and the installer log notes that ARADMIN does not have the
CREATE_TABLE ability.

So I am adding that (and for that matter all the DBA roles!) to my
ARADMIN user in the database and will try another reinstall this
afternoon.

And if it turns out that the issue is the primary language at the DB,
I might go back to the Linux installation since that more closely
resembles the production box here. Keep you posted on that too.

What OS are you running in the VMs? If it's Windows you may be
hitting, with a full ITSM system, the 2GB limit for 32 bit Windows.
How large is the arserver.exe process once it has started up?

By default 32 bit Windows will allow a process to grow to 2GB, if
your arserver reaches this then you can expect malloc errors. There
is a /3GB switch that can be added to the boot.ini file that will
increase the maximum size. Alternatively, and possibly a better
solution, would be to use a 64 bit version of Windows in the VMs.
This allows, out of the box, a 32 bit process (which all current
versions of ARS for Windows are) to use up to 4GB of RAM.

You may also want to have a look at why the server is getting so bit
- enable Copy-Cache-Logging: T in the ar.cfg and turn on thread
logging. This will allow you to see admin changes that are leading
to re-caching and any associated memory jumps.

Our AR servers are running on Windows Server 2003 hosts running under VMWare
ESX (not sure which version, though), and we're relatively stable (I don't
believe any of the issues we're having are related to VMWare). We haven't had
issues like what you're describing. That error number was being encountered by
someone else on the list a little while back, though. Try searching the
archives. I'm not sure if (s)he ever figured it out, though...

Re: Oracle 11

2009-09-18 Thread Axton
Speaking from past experience, each major version of the ARServer
supports one version of the Oracle client. For 7.x, this is the 10g
client. I would expect that in a later major version release,
ARServer will support a later version of the Oracle client. The
reason that only one Oracle client is support is because when ARServer
is compiled, it is linked against a specific version of the Oracle
client. Support for multiple versions of the Oracle client by
ARServer would require a separate build and it has not been the
general practice to have multiple builds of ARServer for a given
version with the exception of platform and db flavor.

On the db server, you should be safe using 9i, 10g, or 11g as Remedy
does not utilize any features specific to the database server that
would warrant the use of a specific version.

These are just my observations based on past experience and do not
imply any future direction of the Remedy product line. Please consult
the product compatibility matrix to ensure you are running a supported
configuration.

Hi,

Let me know off list, and I will get you the newest RRR|Chive version that
is much faster in syncing two systems.

I would to it like this:
1. Do a new install of the new server 7.1/7.5
2. Import your custom groups
3. Import your custom forms using def-files
4. Analyze your core form customizations (probably some
permission-settings at least)
5. User RRR|DefHideExpandBox to get rid of the expand-box on field 2, 4 and 5
6. Use RRR|Chive to SYNC the data from your old production to the new
production server
7. Test and fix
8. Do a new RRR|Chive SYNC which will be much faster than the bulk transfer

Best Regards - Misi, RRR AB, http://www.rrr.se

Knowing the source character set would help in assessing this.

Changing the column length semantics from byte to char will take care
of part of the problem...but may introduce other problems (e.g., view
forms that use the entryid from a remedy view/table as the entryid in
the view form).

In a past life, I had a stored procedure that looked for 8-bit
characters and converted them to the proper representation for the
target character set.

It may be possible to set the NLS_LANG during exp/imp to address the
codepoint conversion, but I am not sure.

For the workflow objects that contain the special characters in a
column used to generate the checksum, those need to be cleaned up
through the Remedy api.

Deidre,

I think you will find that after the arx export there is simply a directory
created with all of the original files in their original form.
Note the original name of the file looks like it is "mangled" a bit by the
process, but It likely is not a significant, nor confusing, change.

As a quick test I attached a doc named "2009.09.15.summary.xlsx" and the ARX
directory contained a file named "2009.09.15.summary_0.xlsx".
(So in this case "_0" was added to the end of the original file name.)

Now if you have more data in the ARS record than just the attachment, then
that part of the data is held in the ARX file.
However you could also export a csv file format to make that data more
accessible without AR System too.
It looks like the CSV file only has the original file name. ( However, I
am not sure that will be much of a problem either. )
The ARX does have the map from the original file to the name of the file
in the attachment directory.

Re: Suggestions for storing/retrieving Remedy Data & Attachments

2009-09-18 Thread Carey Matthew Black
Deidre,

I think you will find that after the arx export there is simply a
directory created with all of the original files in their original
form.
Note the original name of the file looks like it is "mangled" a bit by
the process, but It likely is not a significant, nor confusing,
change.

As a quick test I attached a doc named "2009.09.15.summary.xlsx" and
the ARX directory contained a file named "2009.09.15.summary_0.xlsx".
(So in this case "_0" was added to the end of the original file name.)

Now if you have more data in the ARS record than just the attachment,
then that part of the data is held in the ARX file.
However you could also export a csv file format to make that data more
accessible without AR System too.
It looks like the CSV file only has the original file name. (
However, I am not sure that will be much of a problem either. )
The ARX does have the map from the original file to the name of the
file in the attachment directory.

HTH.

Re: VMWare - Who is using successfully?

2009-09-18 Thread Ben Chernys
I am not running ESX but rather workstation. On 32 bit XP (server or ws)
you can use the /3gb switch to give more memory to an app (like vm). On the
vm don't over allocate memory. Run it at the bare minimum and try to keep
it all in unswappable memory (a VM setting).

The /3gb switch has extensive references. I am running - a very non-busy
itsm - but get great performance no matter what operations I do on the
Remedy VM - and no matter how heavy I load my box's memory.

I've also seen Windows production VMs running on a group of quite big 64bit,
8 cpu machines on MS SQL Server. I really loaded that one (multiple long
lived data migration processes from multiple client machines into the server
group) and had excellent performance throughout. No users were on the
system at the time. Normal users were around 100-200 or so I would guess
and I had not heard of any complaints.

Cheers
Ben

What OS are you running in the VMs? If it's Windows you may be hitting,
with a full ITSM system, the 2GB limit for 32 bit Windows. How large is the
arserver.exe process once it has started up?

By default 32 bit Windows will allow a process to grow to 2GB, if your
arserver reaches this then you can expect malloc errors. There is a /3GB
switch that can be added to the boot.ini file that will increase the maximum
size. Alternatively, and possibly a better solution, would be to use a 64
bit version of Windows in the VMs. This allows, out of the box, a 32 bit
process (which all current versions of ARS for Windows are) to use up to 4GB
of RAM.

You may also want to have a look at why the server is getting so bit -
enable Copy-Cache-Logging: T in the ar.cfg and turn on thread logging. This
will allow you to see admin changes that are leading to re-caching and any
associated memory jumps.

Um, no, Mark. We aren't even getting the base AR System service to do the
initial startup during its installation. Returns a "Service-specific error
1064". Support has hd us run all kinds of diagnostics on it, the install .exe
checks out, etc. I have searched every source of information I can think of

I am currently unable to even install 7.1 on this environment. I have had no
problems installing on MS Virtual Machines, or on older versions of VM. I can't
even get the service to start up.

I am all the way up to BMC's Resolution team, and as yet am no closer to it

Is there something inherent in either of these platforms that would cause this?

Re: Indexing help

2009-09-18 Thread Nicky Madjarov
Mark,

Indixing is too unique for each environment to have simple rules how to do it.
I allways distinguish new system from loaded system. New system is not a good
place for analysis, you can leave it as it is out-of-the-box.
When you load your system with data and have it in production for awhile,
again, all relative based on your daily volumes (but I'd say 6-9 months from
deployment), it is a good time to launch a small "fine tunning" project.
The best source to start with are the "top sql" at the database level - pretty
much the heaviest hitters in your app.
Forget about the rules, there are no common rules out there that apply to
everyone. It is all give and take - you add index, then you maintain it, again,
no rules apply, but it is measurable in db performance stats, so you can
actually find if you are gaining or loosing.

  **
  Good morning,

I think I inherited a mess and need some help with indexing. If I have an
index
  Status
  Assigned Group
  Assigned Person

And the query is Assigned Group and Assigned Person does the index get
ignored because Status was not used?

What if I have similar indexes like these

  Index 1
  Status
  Assigned Group
  Assigned Person

  Index 2
  Assigned Group

  Index 3
  Assigned Person

  Are these redundant?

Also is there and good information out there that really gets into the nuts
and bolts of indexing?

  Thanks

Hi LJ,

Is the term you were searching for "index selectivity"?

I would think that in this case an index on assignee name would be the most
effective as it would be pretty selective always.

I guess when the database grows large which is when you need your index then
an index on "status" would be selective enough to make a difference. This
index will immediately ignore all of the old closed tickets and just find
the hopefully few open ones.

If it were me I'd index A and C seperately and forget about B. I would
expect the A index to be ignored until the database got very large and the
query was against open tickets.

Re: Oracle 11

2009-09-18 Thread Walters, Mark
Oracle 11g is a supported database for ARS 7.5 but note that you still need to
use an Oracle 10g client for the server to connect. This is covered by the "or
higher" clause in the 7.5 compatibility matrix.

Authentication Error 9388 on a 7.1 Mid-tier and a 6.3 AR Server

2009-09-18 Thread Joseph Kubasek
Listers,

We are having a strange problem with our mid-tier. We have a ticket
(ISS03499205) open with BMC, but we would appreciate any help that we
could get from the list.

Our current set up:
App server
6.03.00 Patch 22 on Solaris 9

Mid-tier
Two main production mid-tiers behind a load balancer
Version 7.1.00 Patch 006 200812041310
Apache Tomcat/5.5.27
RHE Linux
Java 1.60_06

We also have a test 7.1 mid-tier that that is not in the load balancer
and a production 6.3 mid-tier and a test one that we have mainly for
web services access.
The production 6.3 mid-tier is on the same Solaris host as our
productions app server.

This set up has been stable for several months, but Wednesday we
started having a problem where
our version 7.1 mid-tier users could not log in. Their log in would
fail with an "ARERROR [9388] Authentication failed" error event though
they are using the correct username and password. They can log in via
the Usertool. This started with one of our production mid-tiers and
seemed to spread to the others as the night went on.

Sometimes we will see errors like this in the arerror.log associated
with the errors:

Wed Sep 16 13:02:27 2009 HandleRPCs
Wed Sep 16 13:02:27 2009 390635 : Error during symmetric key data
decryption (ARERR 9004)

We get the errors whether we are going through the load balancer or not.

We have tried various things:
- stopping and starting apache and tomcat
- resetting the mid-tier password in the mid-tier and the app server
- changing and resetting the mid-tier password in the mid-tier and the
app server
- flushing the cache on the mid-tier
- stopping and starting the app server
- added a ProxyFilter supplied by BMC to our mid-tier's web.xml file.
- changed back and forth between allowing and requiring encryption at
the AR server
- enabling/disabling mid-tier side api logging

None of these things really helped. However, sometimes when we stop
and start tomcat (especially when adding or removing the mid-tier side
ar api logging), the mid-tier will work correctly for a while, a few
minutes to a few hours, then it will start generating the ARERR 9388
authentication errors again. It will start with one or two users
getting the error and degrade from there with more and more of the
users getting the error.

As a side note, our version 6.3 mid-tier also started failing about
the same time, but in a different way. After we restarted the app
server, we restarted the 6.3 mid-tier and as soon as someone started
to log in, the server applet quickly starts using more and more RAM
over the course of a few minutes and then dies. Strangely enough, we
repointed our test 6.3 mid-tier server at the production app server as
a temporary work around while we are trying to figure our what is
going on and it is still working, at least for now.

Has anyone run into anything like this or have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Joe Kubasek

Re: Major 6.3 Migration Project

2009-09-18 Thread Walters, Mark
There are possible problems with the db conversion to Unicode suggested here;

***
  3. Convert the db character set/transport the data
1. Empty the temp new database with AL32UTF8 character set
2. Exported (exp utility) the data from original database (source)
with the source character set
3. Copy the dump to the new server
4. Import (imp utility) the data into the new
database(destination) with character set AL32UTF8

***

Whether this would be successful depends on whether you have accented
characters stored as user data and/or as part of the ARS metadata
(form/workflow object names and workflow actions).

If you have characters in your user data that would require multiple bytes to
store (European accented characters for example) in a Unicode database you MAY
find that the data gets truncated when converted as the arserver treats all
field lengths in terms of bytes. For example a field with a length of 10 that
contains this data in the non-unicode system - testätestä - would require 12
bytes to store in a Unicode db. (ARS 7.5 does have some enhancements in this
area but they need to be applied manually at the field level.)

The metadata issue is a problem because the serialised strings used by ARS to
store form/workflow information includes string lengths and this will not be
modified by a conversion at the database level. Example - a form called TESTä
would have entries in the server data dictionary where the string length of 5
is encoded. After conversion to Unicode this string would require 6 bytes to
store and the server would encounter errors when loading and parsing the data
during the cache load on startup. This is likely to leave you with forms that
are not accessible via ARS.

If you are absolutely certain you have no characters that would need multiple
bytes to store in a Unicode db then the db conversion may be an option but I
would strongly recommend that you export/import forms/workflow and data using
ARS tools instead.

Subject: Re: Major 6.3 Migration Project

Assumptions I am making:
- You are running custom applications (not sla, itsm, cs, crm, etc.)
- You do not have any external api's (plugins, external binaries
compiled for Solaris) on the ar servers
-

I would go with something along these lines:

1. Build the new 7.5 servers:
  1. Install the prerequisite software (db client, java, etc.)
  2. Install ARS 7.5, point it at an empty database that uses the
AL32UTF8 character set
   1. Install subsystems in use (email, approval, etc.)
  3. [1] Manually apply your form/field/permission changes to the core
forms and grab a def
  4. [2] You will need a load balancer, get it set up properly, get
the server group set up properly
2. Migration preparation
  1. Install the 64-bit 10g oracle client on the old arserver(s)
  2. Empty the contents of the new db instance
3. Migration:
  1. Upgrade the existing 6.3 server to 7.5
1. Perform a minimal installation (ARServer only)
  2. Stop AR on the new and old servers
  3. Convert the db character set/transport the data
1. Empty the temp new database with AL32UTF8 character set
2. Exported (exp utility) the data from original database (source)
with the source character set
3. Copy the dump to the new server
4. Import (imp utility) the data into the new
database(destination) with character set AL32UTF8
  4. Perform the upgrade installer for other core ar components
(email, fb, approval, etc.)
4. Post-migration
  1. Set up oracle data guard

Footnotes:
1. A better option would be to update your applications so they do not
rely on (any) changes to the core forms prior to the migration.
2. Load Balancer: You will require a hardware load balancer (BigIP,
etc.) in front of the ARServers:
- Enable session persistence based on the source ip address

Special Notes:
1. Do perform this operation in a non-production environment prior to
upgrading production and verify it works. Also, during this time, if
you run into workflow problems, generate the defs necessary to apply
to an upgraded system so that you can use them during your upgrade.

Server Groups: Server groups will make the following operations
easier, but is not required to run an HA arrangement with AR:
- Object cache synchronization across all nodes
- Subsystem failover between nodes (e.g., escalations)

DR Failover: There are many approaches to this; the choice usually
depends on the size of your wallet and the practices currently
implemented for dr:
- Us
