Hey everyone! Report -- I managed to get 2nd (ARRGH!!) again in the PvP Tournament, with around 1750 points. I messed up a bunch and experimented with different setups to try and find some that beat the double huntress setups ( I found one secret one! ). I could have been at almost 2300 points and way ahead if I just played safe. Next time, I hope.Footmen are pretty good, they do quite good damage (except versus birds), though you dont typically see them used after you get Paladins, Sentinels or Templars. One good thing about Templars is that they are always attacking enemy spell casters and healers, and they always critical strike versus them. One time, I had my fully buffed Templar crit against an enemy Druid for 1050 damage!Champions are better than bards if you have only melee classes, but bards increase all your other heroes functionality a lot. I used a setup with Bard Huntress Huntress Druid in PvP a lot, and it was one of my most go-to setups agai
 nst other teams.Another thing about Champion/Bard/Paladin/Templar/Alchemist/Warlock is that they all take one turn first to cast their buff/debuff spell, so you give the enemy one extra turn in exchange for being stronger later. So its a bit of a tradeoff, because if one of your heroes dies during that round, youre quite behind.Ive heard great news about the next major update bringing pets/familiars to the game -- cant wait to see how that works.P.S. -- one big tip: if you are about to finish a quest that will level your castle, make sure to spend all your food on training heroes before you do the quest, as your food resets to the max. Hi, heres a status update. As I currently feel the sounds suck a bit, the next version will have new sounds for the ambience and footsteps. I have also managed to fix afew unfair advantages to the player in combat, including a bug where you could shoot 4 enemies at a time, pluss I fixt an exploytation where the player could just keep shooting at the angle where you were ment to destroy a lim and you could kill an enemy if you kept shooting. I will be uploading the new version layter today, when I change the ambiences and add in the repair bay. Yeah, the guy was at least honest with me, even if he didnt start out talking to me, but instead to my brother, lol. Once I stepped in though he didnt try to make some stupid excuse or tell me about a website or anything. I was trying to go on a water slide that had a lot of turns, and he was afraid that since I couldnt see where the turns were, that I couldnt prepare for them and Id smack my head, and then my dad would sue his park. Im not sure how things would have turned out if I hadnt been on the slide the day before, but I can tell you this. Im interested in finding some high quality sound fonts. I have a software synthesizer called CoolSoft Midi Synth that lets me add any sound font I can find into its sound font chain. Ive found some sort of decent ones, but Ive heard much higher quality samples from mp3 conversions of other peoples midis. A lot of the japanese games I play use midi for their music, and Ive heard some of them converted into mp3 using a really high quality SF, they sound awesome. In one of my more incredible fits of boredom, I gave, yes, gave away my account to some random guy who used the in game contact information to get my msn. This was an account I had put at least a hundred dollars into, so not one of my smartest moves, but boredom certainly does make me do some crazy things. Nope, Im afraid accounts havent been wiped, albeit the experience etc is recet and the game is not accepting payment. As to activities mike, its a little difficult to say for now as I never tried many originally, and there are some that arent up yet, though the developer has said that hed like to improve access as some of the old activities could be a little funky with their images,  at least fishing was, though as far as Ive been able to find only farming cattle and herb picking are up thus far.Regarding the pvp, its really not so bad, since all you need to do is grab a blue herb, albeit I will confess Im getting a little tired of one button fighting.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=143449#p143449

And you arnt required to slice off the head first. The combat system allows you to specify any lim you want to cut off first, just shoot it off first. If this is modeled after Dead Space, no, things do not die when you blow off their heads. Necromorphs are created by a virus that animates dead flesh, so even if you cut an enemy completely to pieces, it can still move. The only way things die in Dead Space is if the virus decides that the body is useless to it and cant mutate it further, so it leaves to find another host. These are not zombies, humans or anything close. Theyre created by an alien virus that makes creatures a hundred times more deadly by mutating their corpses and often times, combining them together. So dont assume that just because you removed its head and legs that its dead. It will play dead and somehow sense when youre nearby, and try to grab you as you move past. I know that there is a linux iso that comes with speech, at least during instalation. I havent installed it myself, and Im not sure how you would go about getting it on a flash, but linux does come with a speech program built in. You might be better off googling linux flash drive (as there is a way to create a portable version), and installing it onto a flash (4 gb or more space), via your mac. After that, just make your laptop boot off its usb port (sighted assistence required if you cant read the bios screens), and get somebody to help you turn on the speech (also during boot, after you select the os). An issue copying a large file to my external Hard drive, any help?

Hi.So, I am attempting to copy a windows xp Virtual Machine file over to my mac using my external hard drive. However, if I attempt to copy the 28 gb file, it says windows cannot copy the file because there is not enough space on the disk. This is not true as both windows and my mac report that the disk has about 280 gigs free. So I thought I would erase the entire disk with disk utility. So, after backing up all the important data on the disk to my mac, I used disk utility to erase the entire disk. So, plugging it back into windows, I find there is nothing on the disk. HOwever, attempting to copy the 28.8 gb vmdk file to the disk gives the same message.So, is there something wrong with my hard drive? I agree. I was playing dead space, and trust me, its one of the scaryest games I played. If audio doesnt scare you in audiogames, its nothing compared to the necromorphs of dead space. And SLJ, I just tryed using the gun on them. Ok people. for those who know me on here, ive been making a side scroller. now. while we wait for certain things to be fixed in dfe, i tried to make a game that doesnt use the setpan function, which is where the problems begin in my other game.Thus, warrior battle is born!Basic principle, but so far, good looking execution. you run around and youll fight off attackers. Well, share the file with windows file sharing, log the mac onto the share, and copy it that way. Alternatively, troubleshoot your hard disk problem; if youre using fat or possibly even fat32, you may be over the size limit for a single file.You can also compress it into a multi-part rar, copy as many rar parts onto the disk as can fit, copy them off at the other end, and then copy the rest.I cant provide detailed directions; these are things I look up as needed, not something I waste valuable brain space on.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=143487#p143487

Similar to whats been said, but heres what Id check:Firstly, if youve got a fat file system on the disk (extremely unlikely), you might have a size issue with the file (though I thought that limit was 32 gb for fat32). Otherwise, you could either archive the file (I would recommend 7-zip for this myself), or you could share it over (though I have no clue how this would work from pc to mac).Camlorn: fat/fat16 is only supported on disks of 4gb or less, and 4 gbs not supposed to work because its 64k clusters. I use audacity, studio recorder, DECtalk 4.6, d-Speech, and I use NVDA.I am not sure wha tyou meant by saying that Hal could manipulate, unless you were talking about the sam driver. Well combat is really just a case of training at the gym, then equipping the weapons for your level and going at it, theres not much stratogy. if you keep losing its likely because your fighting people higher level than you, because by default the game doesnt match with people your level. Use the trace option to search for people to battle of your level or there abouts, though to be honest for me at least battle was only really a sideline in the game and I confess I never played that seriously, mostly because of the whacky immages on stuff like herb picking that never seemed to work as advertised,  though with the blind compatibility mode on they seem to work okay now.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=143498#p143498

That doesnt surprise me bryan, last year I performed the fredric and ruth duette from Pirates of Penzance with a lady whos a fantastic alto,  and is 81! the rather amusing thing is that the song basically involves frederic, whos been at sea with pirates since he was 8, and is now leaving the crew at 21, suddenly realizing that his plan to marry his old nurse whos 47 wasnt such a good idea. The amusing thing is that he in great indignation has the line fourty seven years! to which said lady said oh fourty seven, --- I wish! . We did nearly change the words to 77, just to fit a bit more appropriately. Regarding the lion king simver, Im not sure if xera as scars queen wouldve done, especially considdering that in the stage play there is a rather disturbing extra subplot about Sc
 ar attempting to marry narla (which is the reason she leaves pride rock to find simber,  though seeing her twist scars knose was quite funny). I dont think myself disney would really have done that, as evil couples arent really there strong point, and given the short run time of the lion king it wouldve likely not left time for both characters. I do think though the Lion King 2 shouldve have one or two flashbacks with Scar and the outsiders, and kovu, just because its not really clear where they came from, or why there were all suddenly absent during the big battle at Pride rock.Then again I didnt really feel the plotting of the Lion King 2 was particularly well thought out, after all Disney have used the romio and juliette, plot far too often poka hontas, fox and the hound etc.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=143499#

Well when I was in Florida disney were fine, and funnily enough bladestorm we had no problems with slides at wet and wild, though admitedly that was about 13 years ago so things may have changed since then, likewise no issue with two disabled people on one ride, indeed that sort of makes me laugh since when I was young I always went on particularly violent rides with my mum and brother, since my dad is not a fan (plus has a heart condition), so goodnes knows what wouldve happen with that given my mum and brother are also disabled .I did however have some fun experiences as a teenager with swimming pools at one point, where people assumed that just because I lacked working optics I couldnt swim, or didnt understand deep water etc. this was hilarious since at the time I was doing scuba training, and actually knew (and still could likely remember),

I get the impression that Disney is pretty laid back unless you ask, or really obviously need assistance. My parents are obsessed with Florida and Disney in particular, and I dont really remember so much as a comment from the staff. The one time I went to Disneyland California, someone told us shortly before we were to leave that they had disability passes to get through the lines faster--Im not sure if their policies on those have changed or anything, but apparently you do need to ask for them, and even afterward we didnt do much asking. (I remember there being a limit to how many people could be covered by such a pass, but I was also surprised by how many people could benefit from being in a party with one disabled person.).One of the recent trips (Ive foregone quite a few, because gah not worth itanymore), they ran into a blind person there on his own (*grumbles about how independence is something thats apparently supposed to grow by magic*),

there are items in the various rooms of the house that you can use, like theres an archery bow and a gun for ranged attacks. Curious.. so the way you decide on shooting limbs is by going in and out certain steps? I get the example... but is that the only way to kill enemies? Dhruv, Linux should run fine on that box. Generally Linux uses less ram and processor power than does Windows and depending on processor speed I dont see why something like Ubuntu 12.04, Vinux 4.0, or another Linux distribution would have a big issue with it. soundRTS, can't seem to get into the server list

Hi, am running soundRTS 1.2 alpha 6. I chose choose a server in a list when I knew a server was up, as my brother told me it was. However, it said 0 servers on, 4 use a compatible version. I tried disabling various security utilities to no avail. Perhaps Im missing something like a file that has the URL of the thing that lists servers?
