Kamochek, as to your firs question I havent a clue. I dont generally listen to trance music so dont know the name of the song or artist who created it.As for the woman who is talking during the music she sounded American to me. At least there was no accent to speak of in her voice. It was plain unaccented English what many tend to think of as American English.

The day I see a fully functional working soundpack for miriani that works without one having to jump through a hundred hoops just to get it up and running will be a miraculous day indeed.My last experience with the thing involved a somewhat functional soundpack for VIP which kept throwing out the windows default beep for some strange reason I still cant figure out, along with Run-time error 91: Object variable or With block variable not set.Honestly, the games mechanics are something worth liking, but all that nonsensical banter back and forward with a PC just to get it to work is not worth it. if I have to spend more than two hours trying to figure out how to get an optional soundpack running because its no longer really supported or what have you, I might as well move on to other things I have in mind. Still, for the sake of remaining open minded Ill give this one a shot and see how it goes. Admitedly, if 
 anyone has a functional pack for vipmud I would appreciate a link to it, since I dont really want to feel like I spent $30 on it for nothing.

SongPop game: does anyone else play it?

Hello everyone!There is a game I play via Facebook, which is called SongPop, and is almost all accessible. Firstly, Ill explain a bit about the game, then say why the almost.The rule of the game is to guess, as fast as possible, songs or artists based on their clips. The names of the songs are well-labeled, the possibility to challenge other opponents too. The only thing that I didnt find a way without sighted assistance was to exclude challenges from people who dont play it any longer and a way to scroll down through the names of the albums/song categories that I can buy with the coins gained via challenges. Anyway, I found that, even being in Flash, it Works well with NVDA or Jaws, except in Google Chrome. I tried to send an e-mail to the developers of the game regarding accessibility, but with no success, but as they say, United, we stand! so I thought that, if there is someone else who plays the game or is willing to test it, we can talk again to the developers via e-mail or its fórum.Thanks,Andre.

Well shift is aiming mode, and I was trying to keep the keymap easy to use. In effect shift pluss space, while using control wouldnt exactly be easy, in fact it would give enemies an easy lunch. I had the ability to run in pre beta builds, but I disabled it. I can always restore it back if enough people really want to run from enemies.

Im with you Nocturnus I was getting the same errors and nobody could help me with it either. WHich is why Ive given up on VIP plus it has no NVDA support and hasnt been updated in forever, costs money whereas Mushclient does not, and has its own scripting language which I think is just ridiculous.

Hi!First of all, Awesome job with this attempt. Ive always wanted to see something like it, and you did a really good job. I have a few suggestions, however.*in the Wii game, you could only have 3 shells in the air/being fired at one time. It meant you had to fire strategically and not just mash buttons. Could this be done for this game too? I can beat a bunch of levels by just facing the general direction of the enemy tanks, and mashing on my space bar.*in the real game, every 5 levels you would gain a new life. Could this be done here, too?Thanks!

spoilers and stuffIve finally reached the tower of regret, but on the fifth level I dont see any way to find the lost spirit. Ive looked everywhere. There are no openings on any of the walls that lead anywhere, and the souls cry sounds like its to the right and ahead of me.Also there seems to be a glitch, the gate extends 1 square beyond the north wall so you can run into the gate from the side defying geography.

Maybe a walkthrough or something please?About someone saying yellow mode, I *really* would prefer it to be accessible at the start of the game (Maybe after we entered on new game in the menu, another menu would pop up asking which mode we want to play) so that we can choose various modes to play without beating the game first. Why i say this, is because the modes each require different strategies (red/blue and yellow uses quite a bit of strategy there since the pokemon accessible to us are different, and the trades that those NPCs make are different as well). As for Pikachus voice, i think you can extract it from Pokemon Snap or something. Ive downloaded a pack of pok
 emon sounds from that game, but I lost it due to the system reformat. Oh and maybe other modes as well (red mode, blue mode, fire red/leaf green, gold/silver/crystal [whenever Johto is implemented], and other game modes once the game reaches other generations as well).About scaring pokemon away with flash, I think its a good plan.Now I have a suggestion: since theres no way in the original games for us to obtain Mew (accept by using the glitch), just to be fair, can you immplement an event of some sort in this game so that we can obtain Mew. Preferably without cheeting, but id really love to have a Mew in my team! Maybe other glitchmons (missingno, m etc) but I dont think i would like any in my team... Heh. Thanks!

Well to be honest hellmoo doesnt interest me anyway. If someone has a full pvp, nothing but conquest, fart on other players as exodus put it game, fare enough, but dont call it realistic or rp, and and dont load it up with other activities not related to pvp, if pvp is your focus, then go for it.This is one reason I wouldnt play Hellmoo, sinse its intentionally a whacking great pvp hack, and from Exodus coments succeeds at that better than Miriani. then of course hellmoo has the holex rated thing, which again,  fair enough if thats what your game is intended to do and if you make it clear enough to players before hand that that is what your game is about.For me the interest in Miriani is the world and none pvp activities of which it has plenty, its just a shame theyre spoiled by the dicks as its put.

There is a thing called the promenade finder (theres a link at the bottom of the page), that should let you lookup where given npc shops are to buy equipment but it always crashes on me in ie8, so I either look in the wiki or ask people, or heck just look around sinse mostly npc shops are everywhere!As to hacking, well its like a slot machine. where you need three in a row. Youll be told code 2, code 4, and code 10 The object is to use those buttons saying hack 1st, hack 2nd, and hack 3rd to try and get all three codes the same number, at that point the attempt access hack button will be enabled and youll get some credits and xp.You can make it

Camochek, you dont need to chat as people have said, but in some games it helps. it depends upon the game, the situation and your inclination. Im not a social player myself but will occasionally say hello in chat, offer some help, ask for help or do trades in games like core exiles or puppet nightmares or even muds. I can also recommend on a general level Wayfare1444, though that plays completely differently to most muds and is more like an advanced browser game with exploring, setting up a colony and lots and lots and lots! of crafting! I never ran into timing or spam issues, but sinse the activities are vastly different in the game, its not really a quick time affair even when you do actually do bits of combat.The one access fix I did want in the game was a way to tell environment types around you further than one space sinse it was a pest having to look over the entire planet just to try and find a desert with some sand, but I dont know if that ever got added. Either way the game is fun the website, along with all connection info is at http://wayfar1444.com/For muds while Ill admit Imno expert I think fergregoir is right on this one. Low spam plus way of reacting to real time as fast 
 as someone who can skimread. Theoretically, this could be possible with any soundpack or trigger creation, but itd obviously be far better for access purposes if the developers of any given mud themselves actually did something to help with access.

Since the persons actually pretty annoying to find Ill tell you that from the stairs, head up about 75 spaces, then head right and youll hear him.@roro, are you talking about the ones in berts palace? If so, there are three people on that floor: the one who calls security, the one obstructing the stairs and another (who I think is on the lefthand side) who asks you trivia questions. Answer all of those correctly then talk to the one obstructing the stairs and hell leave in one massive hurry, leaving you to explore the next floor.

Either way, theyve done it again in their newest title, Paladin of the skies. This is a full blown rpg with 20 dungeons, even more bosses, a complex combat system which involves some very fiendish timing exercises, and plenty of dragons. Sinse the game is partially based on series such as Final fantasy and Xenogears, expect large amounts of magic and technology fused together with plenty of dragons and big explosions, it also has some very nice music too. The problem is that when you involve an activity along with it such as gaming which can already take up your concentration owing to its mechanics and the dangers provided there in, you

Punch, kick, slash and stabbing sounds alert you to the obvious; you are being attacked. Hi,Today, I took another stab at sharp keys, and pretty much got everything mapped out the way I wanted. There is a rather odd issue, however. I did some more remapping to the bottom row of keys, one part of which was turning the right alt key into the right control key. JFW and most of windows seems to take it correctly, but I loaded Pipe 2 and tried to hammer with both control keys, and found that it simply was not accepting the right control key. Any thoughts on this?

@Roro,He asks what year the human dragon war took place, how long it lasted, the name of the crooze company youre flying with and I think one other. Use the up and down arrows to cycle through those options and then c, space or enter to select just like the other menus.If you answer incorrectly hell just teleport you back. After you solve it he just disappears and then you can talk to the person blocking the stairs to continue.

Well I admit I was a little late to the party on this one due to being very busy on Thursday, then leaving on friday for a weekend with my parents away and no laptop. First, congratulations on making such a major and complex game with great locations and story, and an obviously well thought out world. Im quite taken with the many areas to explore and items to find, and I definitely like the combo system for spells, particularly how it took getting used to. On thoughts with the general game, the only mechanical matter Id like to see added is a have I visited here before key, with the areas being so large its often difficult to know where youve been especially with no coordinates While I appreciate that exploring is part of the game, knowing when youve been somewhere and when not would at least let players explore in a more focused way. I spent about five levels on one particular area, and I suspect part of that was retreading 
 old groundd. While the wall function is great, it would be nice to have a little more to go on especially when things get complex and mazelike. Other than that, things are great, I especially like the music and setup of characters who speak lines and things that happen, very much the feeling of games like the Ff series on that one. Now, Im afraid I do have some hopefully constructive comments to make, bare in mind Im well impressed with the game,  heck with the amount of games Ive played anything that holds my attention solidly for three hours definitely gets points. First, the combat system. i like the scrolls and combos and the fact that theyre hard to learn, I also like the idea of needing to compensate to characters strengths with buying upgrades. however I did get to a point where combat got a bit too grindy. Dragon strike scrolls always seemed the best option, so combat became an exercise in learning the combos for 
 those scrolls. That was fine, however once my ceribrum grabbed what to do and I could pull off perfect oblivian dance or energy burst 9 times out of ten, I was doing exactly the same action each round, particularly sinse the spells I found didnt seem to have any other affects accept damage. Some elemental damage, buffs or affect spells would be great, as would be some options to make weapon combat useful. one thing that made the ff games as complex as they were was an elemental weakness system and huge amounts of variable weapons, and items. I do gather from the different damage ranges I get when using the same spell on different monsters, that there is some degree of variation in enemies, however, I was never in a case where any other combat tactics were best than chucking in the best dragon strikes I had, once I learnt to use them efficiently. Likewise, sinse I had no other characters to chip away at the enemies in battle, or curses to take effect, the defensive actio
 n seemed pretty pointless, again it was a case of throw best spell at monster.if bubuffs, elements, curses, extra weapons or the like come in later on in the game, sinse I have only just finished the demo, then fare enough, but given that when I finished one character was level 12 and the other level 13, I wouldve slightly expected to see something other than just chucking the best dragon strike as I said. Secondly, (and more majorly), I really like the world, setting and story and it certainly has the feel of a console rpg. however, the one thing I didnt like was the descriptive language,  or lack there of. I didnt know who any of the npcs were, get an idea what they looked like, same with the environments, indeed Im still not sure whether the wing being a simulation of the outside meant it was some sort of natural setting, or whether it was actually simulation of the ship in space with stars outside. same goe
 s for enemies, id have loved to know what a scarlot thief or A fat murderer actually were, (particularly when I ran into the weerder creatures later onIn many ways the game dialogue read more like a game script of a graphical game, than the descriptive text for a completely audio rpg, which to be honest I found slightly disappointing. Phrases like flashback or our viewpoint is of a bloody battle ground just didnt do much for atmosphere, and Id love such a fascinating location as the paladin to get its due in descriptive text, ditto with various characters. I appologise if this sounds harsh, but if your going to include text in a game, you really should use it, especially sinse it can often provide extra atmosphere. Indeed with the awsomeness of the games music highlighting locations, the text could be extremely effective. I will confess I thought something the same in Adventure a

There did used to be a demo that would let you play part of the game, but that has unfortunately been retired by the developer, which imho isnt the best of decisions, particularly sinse its the extra sound clips, music and videos that contribute to the game as much as the mystery. Ive considdered doing one of my infamous castings of the pod about the game for that reason, though Ive not done one yet and I wont make any promises, well see how things go.

HiI dont agree about not paying because I dont want new content such as weapons, maps, zombies, and new mechanics, speaking from the point of view of a sound designer and map designer, its what I enjoy most out of the game, bug fixes and minor tweaks will only keep us going for so long, how ever, I am patient, and I very much appreciate Aprones and Kais work so far as well.Rory, if you read this topic a bit, or, if your willing, the main Swamp one, then you realize how much we thought about people that couldnt speak English, and or didnt have the money to pay for Swamp.We all felt very bad about that and debated it for a long time, especially Aprone, but what was to be done? the huge majority of the hacking was coming from people out side of America, Canada, the UK, and Australia anyway, this wasnt a step anyone wanted to take, but it felt as though it was necessary to keep Swamp alive to be enj
 oyed by anyone at all. The fact that Aprone is now able to help pay back his student loans from this is a happy side effect, not the intended result, he was extremely surprised at how many people bought Swamp accounts, and for all the work hes put in for us, he deserves it, and more, anyway.The fact that not enough non English speakers were aware and are still unaware of the changes is a failing of the multilingual players that happen to speak both English and that language more than anything else, its not a jab at anyone in particular, because allot of you did pass along that message, and I know its not easy to talk to everyone at once if you dont play the same things or hang out in the same places, and vice versa, the players from that other community, if you dont check on large hub sites for the blind like audiogames.net anyway, then dont expect to get up to the minute updates if you spend most of your time on a game that not many 
 people play or dont talk to many people.Also, Rory, you got banned for good reasons, so in my opinion, thats not even relevant anyway.

Im all for black humour fergregoir, but given that in text chat people cant hear tone of voice or inflection, its all the more reason to be careful that your jokes actually come off as jokes. For example, I wouldnt say to someone go and die in a chat, on Swamp, but if someone was say proposing just running across the bridge with their Glok 9 mm, I might respond with something like h, hope the zombies have their reservations for that mealThat is an example of black humour, but obviously black that is visible in text. Its possible that if the tone of voice was correct that Camocheks comment didnt sound as rude as it appeared, but Im not sure. As you said some games do have populations of really annoying people, but if the games are moderated properly or if there is a good community thats a quick way to get yourself labeled as a trumble maker and be at least ignored (either li
 terally or by actual mute commands), or be moderated if not.Thats why youve always got to be careful in text what is said and how comments come across.

@Fergregoir that sounds pretty awsome to me, and would also deal with my personal major problem in muds, namely that when Im having to crank my voice speed up and type like a demon, Im not appreciating the atmosphere of the game, sinse how can I get a full awsome sense of the dragon sitting on a huge pile of glittering treasure if I have to interupt the description to start dodging breath attacks? @Blindncool, Wayfare144 is actually pretty cool, though it really plays far more as a browser game than a mud in a lot of ways, especially if you like amazingly detailed crafting and building things perminantly. The exploration and environments were awsome too.
