People are feel to ask if they need more information on how to do that. Do you know how simple it really is to install a virtual Windows on a Mac? Here are all the steps:Requirements:Windows installation, image file or dvd.Product key if needed.Vmware fusion.1. Install VmWare Fusion like all other programs are installed on the Mac.2. Create a new virtual machine.3. Choose the operating system you wanna install, in this case Windows 10. On the same screen, choose either the image file or the dvd with the installation media.4. Choose easy installation, if that's not already selected.5. Enter the product key when prompted.6. Do not enter any password for the user account on the virtual machine. You can do that later on in Windows if you want.7. Just follow the screen instructions and click next until the installation begins.8. Wait for around 20 minutes, the installation shouldn't take more than that.9. Now you can start Narrator, the build in screenreader in Windows 10, by pressing ctrl Windows enter. On the Mac on a virtual machine, that is ctrl command enter. It's best to turn off VOiceover at the beginning until you have got some experiences on using virtual machines. There are workarounds, but I won't go into those for new users.10. If you wanna put NVDA on the virtual machine, then there are multiple ways to do that. Either plug a thumb drive with the setup file to NVDA and install it by using Narrator, or make a shared folder with your Mac and your virtual machine. I will recommend a thumb drive for those who are new to all this. Please note: when plugging in a thumb drive in the USB connector, Vmware fusion will ask if you wanna use it on the Mac or on the virtual machine. YOu need VOiceover to navigate this window. Choose virtual machine, and you can access the thumbdrive in Windows by using Narrator without any issues.11. Locate the setup file on your thumb drive like on a normal pc and install NVDA.12. If you need to map some of the keys, then I'll recommend using the program called Sharp keys. You can use the capslock key as an insert key like on a normal pc.It sounds much harder than it really is. I at mid that this is not for inexperienced computer users who don't know how to install there own screenreader and set it up.

Hi there, Like almost everybody else on here I have been playing manamon 2 lately and have been having fun too, until I hit the boss fight, that is. If the topic's header hasn't given you any clues, this post and the topic in general will have major game spoilers, so if you haven't passed the 4th stadiam and eternity studio, stop reading here if you don't want spoilers.That said, in this topic I'll also be asking for team advice, that is what manamons are people using in their team, and which they have found to be good vs not so good candidates for their playthrough teams. My team consists of the following, all are around level 55Bulderdash, Bamboustica, Vyprolt, Colovaird, Lantlare, Wavotamus.Spoilers ahoy!spoiler wrote: I have reached the Hathorilian fight, where it transforms 3 times each time restoring its health to full. I have managed to defeat the bugger twice, that is both its first and second forms, however the third form is a major pain in the ass, what with the shield and the bombbox, and if you manage to get a few hits in despite those 2 things, it starts restoring its health once its lower than 40% I think I could still have gotten through, if only there was an opportunity to save in between somewhere those 3 fights lol. any ideas/ suggestions? Things I could be using, mons I could be replacing? (although tbh I would rather not do that just for this fight...) Also, any tips ideas that you have on my team, mons I could replace down the line or anything at all would be neat to have as well. Also, I wouldn't mind team suggestions for future playthroughs, as I prefer to stick with same mons throughout a game rather than replace one half way through. unless something's really broken, or the mons not pulling its weight anymore... hence asking for suggestions. lol.CheersGrryf

To the people who have been asking whether certain mons are good or not, there's something that you do need to keep track of. This is especially true for the ones who transform pretty late, versus the ones who do not transform at all. Generally, the transforming ones who aren't in their final form yet have weaker stats, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are worse. In their final transformation, they might get significant stat boosts. This is why mons like Marlaunt might seem really strong in the beginning, because they never transform, so they are basically already strong stat wise from the get go. Whereas something like Metalarve might eventually catch up to, or even surpass them.A lot of people probably already know this, but it comes up every now and again, so be aware of that. I actually wonder if there's significant differences playing the game with a whole non-transforming team, versus playing with a team whose members all transform twice. I imagine the latter will cause the early game to be a lot more challenging, but I wonder about the mid to end game.

I think the real losers are the ones who do want to produce kid-friendly content. They're apparently being barred from any significant form of ad revenue, can't get comments, and are subject to some other very crippling restrictions. That's a shame if you're, say, Mister Youtube Rogers and want to produce Youtube Neighborhood for kids, but now you basically have to just do it gratis -- you have no chance of getting any kind of meaningful return now.Kai

Ooh, thanks for indirectly reminding me that I haven't played with Marlaunt, and as a pure ghost type with good speed, this thing has potential.Speaking personally here, I always, always bear transformations in mind, though in many instances, transformation does not in fact result in large stat boosts. They're usually pretty small, which is actually kind of sad. I've expected stuff like Jagzeom, for instance, to be better than it is, but instead it's got meh speed and is a little slow. The main reason Mightauras works so well is because it has incredible attack and good defenses on both sides, but even there, I was hoping that an enormous minotaur thing would have better HP. It does have a lot of weaknesses (flame, earth, water, fighting) to some pretty common types. Oh, speaking of? The thing is about to learn freaking Geocombat. So I can either keep Roar to let it boost up, or it'll have a moveset of Sludge Hammer, Thunder Hammer, Earthquake, Geocombat and Conjure Sword. That is absolutely insane coverage, right there.

Hello there.So the general idea, of course, is to kill the last resort form of this boss. Damaging moves are really going to help. As for manamons to use against it, it doesn't really matter which you use, but maybe some that are resistant to some of its moves will make this easier.For instance, if you have a dragon type, he will get quickly get wrecked by final dragon. Same can be said about a water type and final thunder. So if you have good moves, you should be good there. Also as for that crystal, use it only when you need a backup. When the bomb box explodes, you lose all active manamon on the field, meaning that if you have at least 1 backup manamon, which I like to have two just for safety reasons, you are good to go. All I can say is keep plugging at it. Maybe level up your party a bit more? Anything helps in this case. Your team seems pretty good, at least to me. I haven't really played around a ton with the water type you got, but aquatic blits should get some good hits in if anything.I hope this helps some how lol.

This boss uses a lot of these attacks, so it's probably hitting weaknesses nearly every time.

Nah, I'm not. It does get Element Assault, Spirit Force and Frenzied Rage, but it looks like its attack is serviceable at best, and its special defense is only average. Its speed isn't bad, but its HP is not good. I mean sure, mine doesn't have the best stats (I just caught it wild, didn't breed it), but this one looks like it might be a bust unless it gets good later.That said, it apparently takes less damage from ghost attacks. I wish I knew how -much less damage. Like is it 5%, or something small since Aaron is afraid of power creep? Or is it like a 50% resist to ghost? Because as a pure ghost type, this thing could use such a boost.I'm at a point where I've tried almost everything new worth trying now. And at this point I can confidently say that most things aren't busted outright, but unfortunately, there are large problems with most mons I've tried. As a short list that illustrates the point:Poisons are hosed once again; some of them have nice secondary coverage, but the type is just not well represented, stat-wise; we need, like, a poison-undead type to really screw with peopleA frail flame-poison type gets moves that largely have accuracy penalties; please, please don't make it so that I live or die by things I can't control, that's just awfulReflorin needs more to do than just use magic moves; this is probably the worst one-trick pony I've seen, but then I haven't got a lot of experience with Flarebra's line yet because it looks extremely boringSheepit gets new earth moves! Yay! But guess what, folks? They're special (Mud Blast and Land Power). And Quake still has an accuracy penalty. So, uh, what is a poor sheep to do? Hide in a box, I suppose, because it doesn't even get Quake. This is one that I really had high hopes for, but nope. Same ability (although it's a little better now), slightly improved moves, but those moves run off its worst stat.Bayowoof still can't kill ghosts, as far as I can see.Sponginate and Javoltrik...remind me why we needed an evolution for a very good manamon into a...slightly better one, and remind me why a meh manamon which has too many weaknesses for competitive play got an evolution that did nothing for it except bump its stats a little across the board? Seriously, playing Javoltrik is exactly like playing Donnammer.We apparently needed a baby Rhinodyo. To be fair, I haven't tried Rhinodyo out yet, and if it gets some good sound moves, we may be onto something. But the high-level ones I see seem to be using Berserk Call, Power Kick, Mud Ball, Execution...you know, the same moves that Odin's Rhinodyo had in the first manamon game? Pro-tip: pokemon tried adding baby forms; it largely didn't work for them. Nobody cares about Igglybuff, Azuril, Pichu (unless you think it's cute), Mime JR. and Happiny. I would much rather have seen a couple of different evolutions. One for Myaneko, maybe? One for Redonkeus? One for Bombusect, even? Hell, that would've been fun. You did do right by Sluggugg, at least, so points for that.Accuracy penalties are still the rage, albeit less egregiously than they used to be. Please consider further tweaking here. I don't want to live or die by stuff I can't control. Super-strong moves like Flame Blizzard and Ice Tempest...fine, give them accuracy penalties. But the overdrives don't need them. Night Stick doesn't need it. Frigid Touch doesn't need it. Ditto Quake, Rage Bug, Frenzied Rage, Batter Branch, Charge of Fury, Magic Wave, Magic Lights, Subliminal Radio Wave, Power Kick (seriously, fighting is bad enough already, don't make it worse), Toxic Tail, Steel Horn. These are just the obvious culprits. I'm sure I could find more.And yeah. I could go on for awhile but I trust I've proven my point. This is still a solid step forward from the first game, but why stop here?

Just my opinion, but probably the best choice for crafting is a human.They are bigger and stronger than other races.But if you don't like how the character is going, you can always "surrender" the character and start over with the new one.If you do start out as a human, you'll be in Forest Heart.Go all east or all west, and you'll get to the city gates.Outside those, if you follow the road, and glance to the sides, you'll see grassy plains, light forest, mountains, or heavy forest.Start out going to the plains and light forest, but be sure and glance beforehand. Rabbits and birds are Ok, but if you see a wolf, a bear, or a boar, do not go there!From the plains and light forest, you can start foraging, get grass and weave, get a stick or branch and whittle with a knife, etc.You can also "fight" squirrels and foxes to build up your fighter and hunter skills.Remember to skin and butcher the corpses because those are skills too.Some important crafting commands are contemplate, analyze, and recall.Try to recall the particular craft, like whittling, or stone carving.Analyze an object to see if you can figure what it's made of and if you can make it.Contemplate an object to see if you can get more details for how to make something.In the city of Forest Heart, there's a street that runs all east and west through the city, and other streets go north and south from it. That's where you'll find all kinds of shops, which you initially will not have any money to buy anything.But if you find Hero's Path, there is a library there.Go in, "look at shelves" and then "look books." You'll learn what is available to study there.Then sit down somewhere, and study your chosen subject."Study weaving" for example.It will tell you when you've finished studying, and you can do that again, or study a different subject.There is also an infirmary right next to the library on Hero's Path. I'd advise buying a few bandages, because they are cheap.If you get hurt in the wilderness, you can "bandage right leg" etc., and you'll gain skills in first aid.Hope that helps you get a start.

First, there's a topic or two already for Manamon 2 help, though they've gotten to be huge, and it's hard sometimes to find what you want, even with the search function.Secondly:SpoilersAheadYour character talks about where you're going next, about the time you get the pocket copter.In case you don't remember, it's Ogma's house.Go there.Have you found a book in one of the rooms?It's the book of poetry in one of his rooms.Read it.This time, a poem catches your eye.The poem mentions a place you've been before.Go there.If you don't remember where it is, one way to get there is to go to Brytanburg South, then go through the gate in that area.Then explore until you find something that wasn't there before.In particular, it's seemingly a duplicate of the huge machine in Ogma's living room.

One more thing that seems to be important.Meditate.You can do that, and let it go for fifteen or twenty minutes if you have to clean house or take a phone call.I'm not sure what the benefits are exactly, but I was told it was a very good thing to do.Maybe it speeds up your skill learning?Not sure.

That does happen. Those who set the contracts up are usually the ones updateing the Bulletins. Sometimes, you are better off seaking out the info on your own, but sometimes the Bulletins will give you the best rout to take seeing that the ones updateing them has done the research already.

General point increases would be good, particularly in the part of the game where you're collecting keys.I'd like to see the toys remain on the board when Santa shows up, so you can nip around getting a few if you're lucky, and further increase point total (maybe have toys count for triple points at this juncture?)Would it be a huge headache to give players a brief (like five seconds) speed-up after getting three toys in under ten seconds or whatever it is right now? Like boost mode, but you're still unable to kill elves.

It is returned to normal when you do it yourself (via a stat-upping item or whatnot), when you switch out, or when you die. Or when the battle ends. It is absolutely not permanent. That would be extremely cheesy and would make me want to pretty much ignore the game entirely.Fun fact: Ratiera is no longer quite so busted. It's got decent (not overwhelming) stats and it gets Sludge Hammer. This is cool. Now how about a little love on the standard side? It gets Powerfang, and that's sweet. But why not Slash? It has claws. It's not like I want it to get Frenzied Rage or anything. Just 70 power Slash, for STAB. Heh, slash for STAB. See what I did there?I wish there were an item which, when held, would stop you taking recoil damage. Even if it were rare or whatnot. Pokémon's got one. And need I mention here that most of pokemon's held items do not actually weaken your stats?Random question. So most gear that boosts a type by 25% either has no bonuses/penalties, or they're very small. Why is the stone club so different? I mean, a lot of stone types aren't going to care, but Bulderdash will consequently never, ever use this thing, as you can't afford to have this thing going slow. I'm just not sure why a club that boosts stone moves also has such a huge drawback on it.I'm also not sure who in their right mind is going to use Rapid Cloak with the nerf it got a few updates back, where you get 35% speed for a total of 50% atk/def reduction (total between them). Seems like you're giving up more than it's worth.You know what -else would be neat? Limiting as hell, but still neat? Choice items, as in pokemon. i.e., you are locked into only one move (the first one you choose), but either attack, special attack or speed (depending on the item) is increased by 50%. So if you wanted to just nuke with a given move and wanted to win a speed tie, put this thing on and wreck. The only way to reset that move, of course, would be to switch.`

Some more findings:One of Giganachan's abilities will make it do more damage if it has a major status condition. This is neat, but gimicky; pretty much as soon as pokemon did this, it also gave us items that would cause a status when equipped (toxic orb, burn orb, etc). Any chance that some of those might be made or might already exist? I'd like to be able to trigger this on cue, rather than relying on luck and probably dying because 94% of the time my ability doesn't trigger.Simulon...really, really tough to kill, but slower than molasses in January. Sounds like a prototypical stone type. It is no longer completely busted.Zebbabern: I call bull on this one, because I got one to level 66 and it never learned Super-ultra-hyper-omni-I'm-gonna-singe-your-fur-by-ramming-full-throttle-into-you-after-setting-myself-on-freaking-fire! Oh and also its stats are not that impressive and it looks like a one-trick pony with a fighting move or two thrown in. Yes, I'm poking fun at Singe, Megasinge and Gigasinge. No, I'm not sorry, either. These are probably the worst-named moves I can think of in the game, and that's saying something.

Blessed Necklace is equipment, yes.And thank goodness, Rhinodyo does learn sound moves, and coming off its attack, this means that it's usable!Looks like Brain Dodderator is always female, while Blade Dodderator is always male. I confess I like the typing but do not like either the name or stat distribution. They're tanky and slow, and they're absolutely dead meat to insect attacks. Insect definitely got a lot of love in this generation, which it really, really needed.

ok folks i'm having an issue here. i've gotten to the point beyond the shrine, beyond the floting room where that weird manamon thing is. can't spell the name sounds like hethamilion something like that anyway. so i can damage it although barely. but it keeps throwing down 2 boxes. both boxes seem exactly the same yet if 1 of them does any damage to me then it's instant death for that manamon. anybody any ideas here? is there a pattern to the boxes or is it totally random?

Hello, my fellow "Programming Elites!"This doesn't have to be in code, just logic, or pseudocode if you like. But how would you program as realistically as possible, weaponry and ammunition.I read up on this a bit, and was thinking:For melee weapons, you would probably use raycasting. Raycasting is a system used in fps games that would basically make a ray and throw it in the direction faced, starting, usually, at the muzzle of a gun. This would instantaneously travel the range specified and if there was something hittable in that, it would just hit it, no time would pass, it would just happen. I wouldn't use this for guns because it offers no chance to react, not that you really have a ton of time IRL anyway, but still.Firearms and bullets are another thing though.Maybe give ideas for properties, how they would effect player[s], and what they might do and how?Peace.

LOL @Jayde. Every time I see a horrible move name, to say nothing of the plethora of script mistakes, I also wish I'd have been consulted in the making of this game. Seems Manamon 2 could've done with a thesaurus in the hands of a script editor.One of my biggest pet peeves is the manamon names and descriptions. There could've been so much more fantastic creativity with them, and yet we settle down to basically describing a manamon as a cow, for example. Well, how do you tell the difference between a cow and a manamon that looks like a cow? Many of the descriptions follow this formula, being a lion with x y z or a snake with A B C. This conforms them to a build, when a description lacking animal parallels would've been much more creative and mystical. Eluding to certain animal features is much better than flat-out saying that a manamon looks like a Saint Bernard, for example.Some of my favourite examples:Sanctosole body is a strange composition. A large white tortoise shell glows with golden glyphs and runes and appears to be hollow - however, filling this shell is a ghostly image of a turtles body. Sanctosole's neck, head and limbs are not solid, instead existing more as a spiritual projection.Paranite is mostly a humanoid shape. Its lower body looks human, albeit a human with very thick hair covering its feet all the way up its legs. Its midle region looks like a tree trunk that has been compressed into generally human proportions, which is to say it is more flat than round. The vaguely monkey-like arms extending from this trunk torso are transparent, allowing dirt and stems inside of the body to be seen.This creature is now bipedal, unlike its other previous forms. Its colors are reversed as well. Its main color is now a deep purple while the patches on its side are dark blue. Its cheek pouches are dark blue as well, and much more bulbous and protruding off of the side of its face.I include the last one because it presumes that you've seen the prior evolutions of that creature. What if it were the first time I encountered that manamon in its final state? How would I know what its previous forms looked like?Kai

So honestly, I don't care if you make reference to animals. Saying that a manamon is foxlike, or catlike, or horselike. I don't care. It's a little unoriginal, and you could tell me this instead, but fine. Okay.But when you start telling me it looks like a St. Bernard, you're really starting to bust the fourth wall. St. Bernards don't exist in Tangeria or Kiarre because ostensibly the name is of an earthly origin (our universe, not theirs).Then you have things like cows in kimonos and business suits, electric poles with wires wrapped around them, "happy ice fish", all kinds of stuff really. There are some well-designed manamon, and I'm not giving the pokemon series a pass here (seriously, the Vanillite line is just one example, but Garbodor is another). But some of these could really, really have done with some extra work. You had three years.I think the one that gripes me personally the most is Dageetle, a crushing-together of "dagger" and "beetle" that's supposed to be a holy type. Point 1: it doesn't even get Holy Claw, which strikes me as just thematically weird. Point 2: This is just really, really clumsy. I actually suggested an insect-holy type, I would've called it Vespar, Vespa or Vespi, something like that. Here's the fun part tith that name; it's a play on the German word for wasp, and Vespers are one of the prayers for Benedictine monks, which you absolutely do not have to know about in order to play the game. It's a bit fourth-wall weird, I'll grant you, but to me, at least it's better than freaking Dageetle.This is the sort of feeling that makes me want to build my own game of this type. First of all, it would shut the people up who think I'm just here to spit on Aaron's hard work (there are a couple, and Aaron himself appears to have been one of them at some point). For another thing, I truly believe that I could do creature design, script, story and such a whole lot better. Of course, then we run the risk of flooding the game with more clones (borrowing the same concept and just reusing it). And I also can't code a lick. But I seriously have like half a pokedex/manapedia written out. It's a crying shame that it's all for naught.If there is a manamon 3, I would dearly love to be added to the beta team, as I truly believe I'd be able to help design creatures, balance moves and generally comment on gameplay.Anyway, I digress.

I actually suggested an insect-holy type, I would've called it Vespar, Vesper or Vespiri, something like that. Here's the fun part with that name; it's a play on the German word for wasp, and Vespers is one of the prayers for Roman Catholic monks, which you absolutely do not have to know about in order to play the game. It's a bit fourth-wall weird, I'll grant you, but to me, at least it's better than freaking Dageetle.This is the sort of feeling that makes me want to build my own game of this type. First of all, it would shut the people up who think I'm just here to spit on Aaron's hard work (there are a couple, and Aaron himself appears to have been one of them at some point). For another thing, I truly believe that I could do creature design, script, story and such a whole lot better. Of course, then we run the risk of flooding the community with more clones (borrowing the same concept and just reusing it). And I also can't code a lick. But I seriously have like half a pokedex/manapedia written out. It's a crying shame that it's all for naught.If there is a manamon 3, I would dearly love to be added to the beta team, as I truly believe I'd be able to help design creatures, balance moves and generally comment on gameplay.Anyway, I digress.

@post 19:Many blind people prefer iPhones because, despite their high price points, they’re easy to use and set up out of the box without sighted assistance. As for Android, I suppose it depends on which phone you buy; my first Android phone was a low-end Samsung, and using it was a nightmare for my newbie self. Even now, I find Talkback’s gestures overly complicated. As for PC, well, I suspect that if you were to pick anyone at random on this list, they would tell you that they use Windows either as their primary device ; no need to convince anyone that PCs are, if not better, at least easy to use and relatively cheap. Plus, most audio games are written for Windows PCS, with iPhones only slightly ahead of ANdroid phones in terms of games.

I can't find the laser thing that protects you. I did a search and I found posts on it being on the south wall. I looked and I only see that one chest I opened before. I also searched between the first and second lasers and couldn't find any gaps.

Has anyone noticed the marketplace inventory, also in the earlier cities, changes? I'm pretty sure that if you beat the first stadium, the marketplace in that city starts selling an item called the pesticide wrap. which wasn't there before. Not very useful for most plants IMO, since a 20% reduction isn't that great if you're weak to a certain type, but it might be fun for the leafowl line (since its air typing means you aren't weak to insects anymore), or Rosa/Thornita who already has the thorny body ability, so the physical damage might actually stack.I should go check if there's more items like that in other stadium cities. Perhaps this is common knowledge, but the word pesticide in the search box didn't really turn up anything relevant.

Also I'm drawing a pretty negative picture here myself to get across my point. And thirdly I am pretty sure you don't quite mean it that harsh as it comes across. So this is neither a thrown stone from an inocent man nor the ultimative solution how to handle things in the future. I however want to show you the half of the equasion you're probably not considering at the moment.Please don't get me wrong. I highly value your opinion and I think you mostly have very good points, at least I agree on almost everything you post. But I believe the delivery is lacking at some points and you're probably doing more harm than good with your approach.Whatever you take away from this public post that I'm not totally sure shouldn't instead have become a PM, keep up the hard work on our community either way.

I am definitely not being as harsh as I was with the first manamon game. For that one, I'd have agreed with you. Nowadays though? I think what's rankling me is that stuff that we knew was busted in first gen is still busted now. Script/descriptions especially. It upsets me to know that someone is still charging the same amount of money and still has holes in their professionalism. Yes, that's sharp, but I think it's deserved.I've also tried to point out where I think Manamon 2 has done it right. It's not perfect, but it's a whole lot better in some ways than the first game. The story is more involved. The puzzles are better. Move diversity isn't perfect but it's a long way from awful. On and on. And when I do engage in conversation with Aaron, I am firm but I endeavour to be fair. He deserves plenty of respect for what he's done, but that doesn't mean a soft touch just because he's done right in other areas.I also don't appreciate it when someone says "yeah, I value your expertise on the meta, but I'm still gonna do it my way because power creep". That's a contradictory statement.This isn't personal. If any one of you had done exactly as Aaron has done here, I'd feel and likely act the same way.

The only way to get past that Hathorilian fight is to use the search feature. The game interfaces with the forums and checks whether you've searched for your answer before asking your question, and if you haven't, it actively tries to get you killed until you do.

Does it vary? Is there a pattern? Test. Seriously! And yeah, also use the search feature. Because Hathorilian is immune to damage that's not search type damage.
