Well, Huw, what you plan is also a good option, but if gambling will be totally prevented, that will be a too huge handicap even for me, especially at impossible difficulty level, lol!Here is how I suggest to you to solve this:Add a custom option for bets and gambling, with 3 alternatives, so the main option with 3 sub-options:Disable gambling and betting 1. totally, 2. partially, or 3. manually set the maximum allowed limit to them.By partially I mean there will be a predefined limit set by you for all gamblings and bets, for example we could choose between 30k, 40k, 50k, while with the 3rd alternative we could determine, set that maximum limit ourselves.Normally all this added to those custom game options only.I think such a solution would suit the most of the players for sure!(I personally would definitely select the lowest available betting limit, but betting I will still need due playing on impossible difficulty, lol)

Therapists are much less likely to judge you than you think.  You might have to try a few times to find a good one, but you're highly, highly unlikely to be judged.  I try to keep the not-PG13 parts of my life out of these discussions, but last time I did this I was involved in a 5-person gay polyamorous relationship with D/S elements in Florida and my therapist was just like "Huh, I've never heard of that before, tell me more, that sounds like an interesting life experience".  But the flip side is that if you think there is something they might judge, there might actually be reasons to work on whatever it is.  And if there are, the idea is that you'll work out whether or not that's the case together.  Obviously there's bad therapists.  But this is the sort of stuff a good one will do.  They're people too, of course, but their job is to worry about the things you should be worried about from a mental health perspective, not to put all their personal feelings on their clients.You don't need to live alone now or anything like that, but the paradox of depression is that you'll be unable to do anything because the depression is sitting there telling you you can't, but doing something is what will help the depression go away.  Clearly Covid makes doing something harder, possibly hard enough that you can't.  I get that.But also, the thing is, if you're just dwelling on how you're not sighted all the time, and you can't get past it, and you think there's something a therapist might judge, and you've got self-control problems, and these demons are literal, you're describing a whole host of mental illnesses, most of which are easily treatable.  In that case, putting off going to a psychologist or psychiatrist is probably a huge mistake.

@21yes, along those lines.  Then you define a class Menu which is the same for all menus and which takes choices and callbacks in the constructor, and just make an instance and push it on whenever you need a menu.  Can pass the game into the instance of the menu or capture it in the lambdas for the callbacks or whatever else.The problem you think you have is "How do I make menus" but the problem you actually have is "How do I change what the keyboard input goes to".

I am not ready to live independently yet. A part time job will not be enough to support me in an apartment. And I don't want to risk burn out from both college and a full time.I have considered therapy, my main concern is cost. It is expensive. And the other reason, I don't know if the counselor will immediately see me as a threat if I explain the demons I fight off in my head. I have some sanity and self control, but they may not think it is enough, which who knows, maybe if they say so then it may be true since they studied for a degree, or maybe they will judge before letting me explain. That's not how counseling should go, but you never know.I have thought about using what is called smash therapy or some way to physically let off steam, but in a healthy way. I bought a punching bag, and I was going to use it, until my dad laughed at me and said, I can't believe you bought this. This was after I told him that I need to gget out anger and after we went to one smash therapy session to see what is was like. So yeah that made me feel good. I would need to learn how to punch a bag correctly first so I don't hurt my hands. See if I were alone I wouldn't feel, I guess embarrassed, to do this, or to go anywhere. But I can't move out yet, so I need to suck it up and just do what I need to do. My dad isn't the helpful type, and if I ask him to be more stricct and firm, he won't do it, or he will forget, or he will forget why I asked for it. See this is where calling the state to help me with things come in, but suprise, fucking covid has put that on hold. So in limbo again.Sorry for the long rant lol I need some help as pointed out in my signature. I'll break from limbo one day...Maybe...Either in a good or bad way...

Pick them off instantly, then pound away on him.Once you're pounding away, BTW, use Sunshine Song on Lantlare and stick to using Torch on Byron, and use Shadow Sphere with Sirenea, Assault Gem with Turrubble, Power Punch with Tenshaino, Spirit Force with Marlaunt, and Blaze Punch/Blaze Rampage with Foefum/Garganchan. Sunshine Song will weaken Marina Overdrive if he tries to use it on either mon weak to it, and nothing on your team is weak to fire, though Marlaunt and Tenshaino are neutral to it. This will speed up the fight.

Okay, so:Sirenea takes Molandon with Flood.Marlaunt takes Chimerus with Element Assault.Lantlare takes Daggeetle with Torch.Tenshaino takes Marlaunt with White Lance.I don't know who your starter was, but Turrubble takes Golavath with its strongest stone move, or you can Earthquake Pegastorm and the starter (if it's Bamboustica, it won't do much damage).Speaking of, Foefum should be a Garganchan by now (smoke element), it should also have Earthquake, and you can either use that or OHKO Bamboustica (if that's the starter) with Blaze Rampage.If you have to face Kaboerain, you'll just have to muscle it down with a combination of Psychedelic Spell (Sirenea), Assault Gem (Turrubble) and Frenzied Rage (Marlaunt).But the moves I specified should work to at least make it a six-on-three or six-on-two, anyway. Your levels are fine, and if you've got a couple of revives handy, feel free to use them, especially when there aren't many battlers left on Byron's side, and especially if he's resting.A lot of people like to reraise fallen comrades instantly in this fight, and while that is usually a good strategy, sometimes it will work against you. Me, I like to kill some members of his team before they kill me, or in revenge, then start bringing my mons back when there are fewer enemies to target them.

@nolanThe fields are set up weird. It's like typing into Google but only being allowed to select from the search suggestions. I don't know about Orca, but in NVDA I was able to press down arrow to browse the options and then enter to select. They're not in any order. To type freely in the box, I had to press NVDA+space to switch focus modes, and press enter to insert that tag. To browse the suggestions after typing a few characters, you'll need to switch focus modes, press down arrow, and enter to select (like typing "horror" gives the suggestions "horror", "survival horror", and "psychological horror"). Hope this helps!

#8, you can always gag him. Well if you can gag administrators. I think I did do that. You could always ignore him though which could work but maybe not. Personaly i haven't gotton into any trouble even when I have had a high profile constantly talking on chat and dev etcetera. I think the mue's changed  quite a bit,  but maybe its just me not playing it with old version to see if its good or not. I find that kind of behavior stupid, maybe you could try it again now if last time this happened and you logged in a long time ago to see if the guy's gone or something. @swigjr23, I'd agree with what you said if both screen readers were free, but JAWS costs at least $1000 for a home licence, oh but wait, if you're in the US, and the US only, you can get a much cheeper licence for around $90 a year, or was it a month, iether way it's cheeper up front.I'm sure JAWS does some things that NVDA can't at the moment and yeah, the braille support is probably better, I don't use a braille display so can't really comment, but JAWS has been around for much longer so probably has better drivers for them.

You're correct, to the dot. The delay is 500ms exactly. You can lower this in the repeater dialog, look for the box that says 500 and make it more like 50. Most machines will handle that, if not, bring it up a tad. If you go too low, you'll get crackling that you're not going to want.

With Miriani, I saw it happen though it didn't happen much to me. This guy would kick people's ships until they came out, demand they print out their battle report, and then tell them how shit they were. If they didn't, he'd wait until they next launched and shoot them down. If they did, he'd more than likely do the same. He also followed people around. He actually did this to me. After seeing that, I noped the hell out of there, thinking if that's the kind of thing they allow, I want no part in the game.Regarding CM, yeah if you just keep low, you'll never have an issue. Also, it's not like I didn't have fun on there. But what I'm greeted with when I go back is this guy who's damn well old enough to know better throwing jabs my way when I want nothing to do with him. He's more successful at life than I am, so IDK what he's compensating for, but I'm not going to a place where I'm made to look like an idiot for simply existing.

The xm3's have one mic on each side to help with noise cancelation, the xm4's say 5 mics in total. Speak to chat is a cool feature which I'm guessing can be toggled, but we'll see about the rest.

I am using JAWS right now, and I use it everyday. NVDA and JAWS both have different strengths and weaknesses; for me JAWS has better braille support, but NVDA works better with programs like Thunderbird. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what screen reader you use. As long as you can get access to the software you need to, the screen reader really doesn't make a difference.

@Jayde, I don't care if it turns into a JAWS VS NVDA thread and as it's my thread it shouldn't matter to you or others if it does, I understand you're a modirator and that you probably have to skim through threads but if we want to talk about JAWS vs NVDA, we can.I've been a JAWS user for around 11 years or so, and can tell you; NVDA does everything I need it to do and now NVDA is on the microsoft store with limitations, those who want to use it in a job setting can probably do so.Jaws was great for its time but it's dying out and soon I think it will only be big companies buying their stuff as every day users will either have a demo, if they need it, or just switch to NVDA perminently.Oh and if JAWS has a feature people like, like the OCR scanning for PDFs, that will probably soon come to NVDA either in the form of an addon or a feature within the software.The only thing I can say that jaws has going for it is the Customizability.I tried JAWS yesterday and let me tell you; I didn't know how much I took for granted the ability to turn NVDA down on the fly, with JAWS you can't do that as far as I know; you probably have to go into a setting somewhere to turn it down. As I've said before; JAWS is loud and the ability to just press a couple keystrokes to turn NVDA down is a true blessing.

Just judging from a simple Google search that turned up reviews from top tech dogs, you're right. There doesn't seem to be any improvement despite a widespread claim that the headphones were more energy-efficient, which lead the expectation that battery life would increase. Oh well. 30 hours still isn't bad.I think most of my excitement just comes from hope rather than expectation. I know the new model is not being branded as a revolutionized successor to the XM3's.

Menu narration would have been an amazing start.The haptics for incoming punches is still there, so Im very happy that was left in.There are only visual accessibility options which is extremely disappointing. I suspect the combination of covid19 and a smaller budget are why we did not see any supplementary features.

hello,thank you for your answer DJEPIC. I succeeded to separate my headphones and the other speaker, but the intresting thing is, the other speaker is my cases internal speaker and not the rear jack. I'll find a solution for this. thank you for your help.realtek users, you can select your speaker, in realtek control panel, select device advanced settings, and check the box, make the internal and headphones  separate audio streams.

@86, 87:Glad to have you both here to judge! Don't worry about not having controllers; you're not required to play and rate all the games (but it would be excellent if you could). Ideally our developers will create keyboard control schemes for folks without controllers. On itch.io there's a way to tag the different types of inputs a game supports. If it's not possible to filter these on the submissions page, then you'll be able to find this info on the individual game pages and play what you can.

That did it, although it took some tweaking to get just right with both JAWS and NVDA.I leveraged pyglet.clock.schedule_once(callback, 0.2)I just setup in my callback here to speak the title of the window as interrupted, and my intro text following not interrupting.I had to add a call to silence the screenreader as soon as the window was being created, well right after I called pyglet.window.Window.__init__(...)There was some bug some of the time that was fixed when I did this where it was trying to speak the name of the module the main program is running from and then being interrupted very quickly.Anyways, this way I am controlling when and how the title is spoken, and it works with JAWS and NVDA.Thank you for the tips on delaying the screen reader.

FluidSynth and BassMIDI are MIDI synthesis libraries. Virtual MIDI synth uses the BassMIDI library for the actual synthesis. Some other Windows MIDI drivers that use it are OmniMIDI and the BassMIDI driver. I personally use OmniMIDI as it is actively developed, is open source, and has more features compared with other drivers that use the same synth.There is a soundfont called FluidR3, so I understand why you thought FluidSynth was a soundfont.

@13Visual Studio is much more than a wrapper around command line tools, and if you're doing anything even remotely advanced with it then you will have problems.  Lots of things such as XAML have deep integration, and it isn't generally possible to just ignore it and use msbuild.Also what's wrong with waiting 2 seconds for errors is: are sighted people also doing that?  That's how long an incremental Synthizer build in C++ release mode takes.  I think Amerikranian is saying all of VS is laggy, which I'd believe.  it certainly used to be, even on powerful computers.Maybe Xamarin has great CLI support.  But I wouldn't go further than that.  And since I was around for the last time Microsoft fucked us over with devtool accessibility, I'm probably never going to seriously consider the platform for personal use.

using c# from the commandline is possible in a number of ways, but at the end it'll all come down to your preference.If using the .net framework for instance what you could do is code in your text editor and then build using msbuild from the visual studio developer prompt.Or you can use .NET core which allows you to create and manage solutions from the command line.As far as I know, now .NET core 3.0 supports windows forms and WPF so technically you shouldn't have issues.But again, it's all subjective, and visualstudio can be fine as well.

I had vision until I was three years old. Full vision. I've been told that i'm stupid for this by a lot of people over the years, but, when awake, I can not remember what things looked like. However, in my dreams, I sometimes can. And whenever I have a dream where I see again, well sort of see, or where I can remember what it was like, It all hits me again. I feel your pain, OP. I haven't found a solution, in my case, as the dreams seem to happen at random, for example I once had 3 in one week and only one in four months, and therapy was not helping me at all in the time I went to it seemed to help me none. I feel your pain completely, though.

Man, if you've been blind since 8, and you're now what, 18, or 19, you need to be in therapy for this. You're not really adjusted to it and you need help getting to grips with it.I'm not saying that every minute of every day is sunshine and roses being blind. Sometimes there are frustrations that you know you wouldn't encounter if you were sighted. There are jobs you might wish you could do. For me, these would be long haul trucking and becoming a pilot.For this to just hit you in a wave like it is doing though, that speaks to me that you need some help. Get in therapy and let them sort you out. Anything more from me will just be maundering from an armchair psychologist, which helps no one.

@MyDearWatson, As I very briefly hinted back in my last post, and if you use Realtek's audio drivers, you can go into the audio manager and toggle this behaviour. You can find it under Device advanced settings, then Mute the internal output device, when an external headphone plugged in. I can't stress enough that I don't have internal audio hardware to actually try this out with, but this is what I can find.
